Since many feel the "loss" to FSU was a recruiting and made a lot of top recruits give us serious consideration. 1. Do you now feel that momentum was "lost" with a "loss" to an unranked Virginia?

2. What effect will keep Al and Staff do to the 2015 Class and potential "top" recruits considering playing for him?

Keeping him hurts, we need to move on. Even if it means the 2015 class gets hurt. Possibly if we hire someone legit and proven could actually help us for 2015.

You hire someone good, proven and legitimate. 2016 class will prosper. IF we do hire a new coach, he won't be walking into the same talent situation randy or Coker left us in. Their is actual enough talent for a 10+ win team.

Fire everything and everyone immediately nothing that has happen this season makes any sense and im beyond a couple of anti golden post **** blake james, **** donna, **** the bot, and finally **** anyone else whos keeping the circus running. It was never ok to lose these games this year save fsu and then we go up against them hard and now belly up to virginia. If golden aint canned we as fans are screwed.

The biggest joke of this all is the effect on our vaunted 2016 class. We're going to end up waiting one year too long and then risk ******** up whatever is left of that group. Make a move now and the new guy has an entire year to keep that class in tact.

Losses like this annoy me and worry me. The real question is:

WHO IN THE WORLD wants to go to school to lose to Virginia, Duke, etc. year in and year out.

Momma's boys that don't want to leave their homes in South Florida. That's what we're going to be left with and we won't even be able to develop them. The selling of the brand based on accomplishments that all are over a decade old is going to fall on more and more deaf ears if it hasn't already. Ohhhhhh, I guess we can sell immediate playing time too.....on a garbage product.

Firing him will help recruiting especially if they move in December after the bowl game

I imagine the new coach will keep a few guys and get some competent guys that can sway some kids and introduce new philosophy that fits south Florida kids style of play

It alters the perception of Miami is turning the corner and it brings it back down to reality. Miami is still struggling in all aspects!

Any momentum this staff had was really hurt by last night. Huge blow for Irvin.

If Golden gets fired this year, this class might not be too great. But we will be able to save the 2016 class before it's too late. If Golden isn't gone this year, He very likely will be next year, and that will be terrible for the 2016 class, which should be elite. If Golden goes next year, it could severely impact the 2016 class. We need to make the switch now, so we can still get an elite 2016 class. 2015 won't be elite regardless who the coach is, so It wouldn't have as big of an impact as a firing would next year.

With the guys committed to us, Scarlett and Jaquan, are they committed to Golden, or the school regardless of a coach?

Also, in terms of the guys we are after, how many will we be out of it for if this staff is let go? Would they still listen to another staff?

You can't decide to make the change on how it will effect recruiting, because in the long run, it always hurts the program in recruiting, unless obviously the coach somehow completely turns it around, which is probably extremely unlikely.
I'd much rather sacrifice a class that at best still can't be elite, than sacrifice a class that SHOULD be elite, and already is (2016).

Oh don't get me wrong, I agree 100% with you. I'm just asking to see who we would lose/keep. I've been done with Golden since last season, and I never liked him when we hired him.
