I mean we have won 17 games in the last two years (with the possibility of winning 20 games) - and we are continually shafted by ACC referees.

The crazy thing is,. This is very much possible in the ACC lolBasically need
-Clemson to beat UL
-UL to beat SMU
-Duke to beat UVA
-Wake/UNC to beat Duke
-Pitt to beat GT
I guess I'm in the minority - I don't give af about the playoffs, we're clearly not good enough to win the whole ******* thing.
I'm desperate to win the ACC though - which obviously we won't have a chance to this year.
Or they let us both in and arrange a rematch to one of the highest rated games of the year.I also will say. If we and ND both win out. Depending on how dominant we are in games including the game against Pitt assuming ND wins that game. I think the committee will have pressure to use the head to head as a deciding factor with us and ND.
We've been Benny the past couple yearsThe ACC is the manifestation of the Benny Hill theme song and we are major characters in this show.
We don’t deserve anything, but would be sweet to sneak into the playoffs. Highly unlikelyI guess I'm in the minority - I don't give af about the playoffs, we're clearly not good enough to win the whole ******* thing.

While it does nothing for the ACC race, I maintain that ND @ Pitt next week is the single most important game for Miami’s playoff chances.Next week:
Clemson needs to beat Louisville (possible). Then we don’t have to worry about them anymore. Clemson owes us after what happened last year. Time to repay the debt.
Duke and Virginia play each other. So one of them will get two losses. You would rather see Duke win (possible), especially because they still have two ACC games after UVA.
Would be amazing if BC beats GT, but that ain’t happening.
Fast forward another week:
Need Louisville to beat SMU (possible)
Pitt to beat GT (possible)
And UNC over Duke (unlikely)
Fast Forward to the last week:
VT over UVA (possible)
Cal over SMU (possible)
Wake over Duke (possible)
Would it be possible to hold practice in the Panthers' facilities after the NCST game?I'm gonna keep posting this. The rankings are a lot more interesting than people realize. Yes, we actually have to win out. But assuming we do..
Louisville and Virginia lost, so we will be the committee's second highest ranked ACC team on Tuesday by default, behind GT.
GT still has to play UGA (and Pitt). If they lose to UGA (as they're widely expected to) the committee will move us ahead of them.
It gets REALLY interesting if USF is the group of 5 rep and ND is in their top 10.
Yes we probably miss out on the ACCCG. But we would still be the committee's highest ranked ACC team AND we would have wins over 2 of playoff teams.
Buckle up.
The bottom line will always be about which potential playoff matchups will generate the most eyeballs and money.Or they let us both in and arrange a rematch to one of the highest rated games of the year.
Pitt is coming off a bye, 2 weeks to prepare. Opening line is Pitt +10.5.While it does nothing for the ACC race, I maintain that ND @ Pitt next week is the single most important game for Miami’s playoff chances.
If Pitt upsets ND, they are out with 3 losses and an at-large spot opens up. Pitt will be ranked top 20, maybe top 15. We then beat Pitt and go to the playoffs as a 10 seed.
I think this is the most reasonable way for us to make it after UVA lost their QB.is there a sliver of hope?
And that's ok.This is some take.
From what I understand, only if they're "ranked".Highest ranked G5 champion gets an automatic spot

Winning is not a given. Every week is a fight!! Be excited when your team wins! What y’all think do we have a shot ..lol I know wishful thinking
