For old folk here.

We’re on lock down, A couple of cases out in Cali, but we kinda got ahead of the whole situation by mandating shelter in place prior to it became a National situation. The mom & pops businesses r done; and they probably will never come back.

Sad thing is, mofos still think this chit is a joke.

I wish NY was out in front and not telling people to go to restaurants and live normal lives well into March.

my boy just dropped off an Easter gift for my daughter from his daughter. He told me he swung over to another friends house and he had 5/6 dudes there drinking beer. People need to stay in for time being. You’re right, they’re out here like it’s a joke.

1985 - beat #8 F$U on the road

1986 - beat #20 F$U at home

I guess those weren't "big games".
Beating #20 at home may be good now but when you are on top it's a solid win. Bottom line if we beat UCLA and Penn State we have two more titles. He was a gifted player who **** the bed when it mattered.

Sorry meant Tennessee not UCLA.

Lol....Stop it...
Testrverde is the only qb in UM history who played for a NC and lost. Every other qb won at least one of their opportunities.
Kosar 1/1
Testaverde 0/2
Walsh 1/1
Erickson 1/1
Torretta 1/2
Dorsey 1/2
It can also be argued Testaverdes performances alone cost us the games.
Sorry if you suck in your two opportunities to win titles you suck in the big games.

I would call your above Porst a Pile of Sh*t....but that would be a disservice to the Pile of Sh*t......
When it's hard to support your weak argument I see you just resort to calling names and cursing. My original statement is true. I like Vinny but when we needed him he well **** the bed.

Ain’t no argument about it, he definitely cost 2 National titles his ****-self. Pretty sure either Vinny or his bookie will come clean and admit a truth many of us have always suspected, many years from now

I didn’t see 86 live; I only saw the rewind. But FA SHO 03 hurts more for me.

I was in a house full of Buckeyes during this game, too. They were giving me **** the entire game, then we scored in OT...then Glenn Sharpe breaks up the pass, and the announcement of “The Miami Hurricanes are back to back National Champions”....and I went H.A.M on everyone in that house, including my ex....thumping my chest, and that flag came out, and I just hear Keith Jackson say, “wait, hold everything”. I dropped to my knees & crawled to the TV and kept saying “pls don’t do this to me, to us, to me...” And when they called P.I, I just stayed on my knees as they jumped around me celebrating.

Man, it still feels like yesterday
yea but surely everybody in the room knew that was a bullshyt call and we really won that game, they should have been embarrassed to brag about that **** too, ref's handed to em on a silver platter

Typical "missed the point" answer.

Nobody disagrees that if Miami wins the 2 bowl games, we have 2 more titles.

I was responding to the BS of "Vinnie didn't win any big games except against Oklahoma". And both F$U games were big games.

It's just ridiculous how so many "football geniuses" know so **** much about our 1986 and 1987 bowl games from simply reading a QB's stat lines.

Those porsters forget that it was the 1985 Miami defense that gave up 35 points to Tennessee (our 1-year-only DC was not retained and Wannstedt took over in 1986). Overlooked is the common denominator between the Sugar Bowl and the Fiasco Bowl, when both Tennessee's defense and Sandusky's Ped State thugs swarmed Vinnie in a way that no other teams attacked him in either 1985 or 1986. Tennessee was rushing 8 guys on many plays, and they sacked Testaverde 7 times.

You want to blame Vinnie for the 2 bowl games, fine. But you also need to blame Jette's defense in the Sugar Bowl and Stevens' playcalling in both bowl games. If the Tennessee and Ped State defenses are sending 7 and 8 guys on passing plays, the OC needs do to a better job of using the rushing game and outlet passes to manage the pressure. Not to mention "better blocking", which would have been nice too.

Some valid points about the d I give that but o and d feed off each other and when you throw 3 picks and fumble in the endzone vs 1 td it's says something. We had a **** good run game against psu though Also the 86 fsu team finished unranked and we were 1 going into the game. Hardly a big win. Also he beat a Florida team in 86 that finishes unranked and also lost to uf in 85. If you check the schedule he just wasn't very good against any d with a pulse, save Oklahoma. Look bud, I was going to games in the 80s so I'm not new to the scene. I also understand those wins against Oklahoma were epic and he looked like Superman. But against everyone else that was actually good but for a decent 85 fsu team he was pretty sucky relative to most of our great QBs.

I'm friends with someone on the '86 team. I've mentioned before he was at my Bar Mitzvah for those who ever read my posts and remember (the only hint I'm giving). I've spoken to him 3 times this week, and Vinny came up. The PSU game specifically. He says all of this and all of you are full of it.
