Well i was at the game and been to many games. It was a close game and they were behaving like we were getting blown out. Am not at home tweeting. We could have made it harder on UL, team playing bad or not.

Failure

This game was lost by the coaches and the fans. Yes I said the fans.

The coaches seem to not be able to respond on either side to what Louisville was doing. Against our D they constantly, cut blocked and also ran into that gap we left to get Bain 1 v 1. And they got the ball out quickly. I dont think we ever adjusted. For me thats coaching. On offense, the lack of diversity in the running game costed us. We saw some of it v FSU and even UF. Beck was pressing and went for too many big shots, the check downs were there. He threw one to Bauman that went for big yards and one to Marty Brown that got called back. It was there all night, even on his picks.

As for the fans, it was one of the worst crowds i have been around. It didnt even seem like a regular canes game going crowd. Many came late because of the friday traffic. I ws sitting beside two British, who had no idea about the game visiting for work/tourism.

But the biggest part that p!$$ed me off, was when Poyser recovered the fumble and we scored to make it a 3 point game, back on defense, UL is driving with like 5 mins left and there were so many fans sitting down and not even trying to make noise. I sure thought we were gonna just become insane after that, i was on my feet the rest of the game and I seen us turn games on the head many times. They did not give the team a lift at any point during the game.

Like i said, with the 12 team playoff, i wanna see how we respond the next 2 weeks before i decide if this is a hiccup and being outcoached or we are just not as good as we thought.

Got stuck in Miami with all the construction, didnt get home till 1 am. One of the most diflating losses i can remember. Up there with GT in 2023

By far the dumbest post I have ever read at Canesinsight and I have red a few! Blaming anythng on the fan base is pure stupidity. Our fans showed up, The U fdid not! The fans get there energy from the team, and the provided NO energy! Plus a couple years ago the stafium would have been empty playing UL!

So with heavy traffic due to construction, friday traffic, a moron as a coach, a clueless OC, and a team that showed no emotion, I WANT TO THANK THE FAN BASE FOR ALL YOUR EFFORTS!

Does it matter? U don’t get brownie points b/c u yelled “Let’s Go Miami!”

The moment u blame fans for coaching blunders, is the moment u lose all credibility. I’ve been to PLENTY of empty Orange Bowl games & we did just fine. **** u talking about?

You were not at the game. They atmosphere was flat from the beginning for a undefeated #2 ranked team. Communication is a big part of football. The fans made it easy for UL throughout. If you dont think that affects football games then you are deluded and simply just wanna push your agenda.

Also i didnt just blame the fans, i blamed the coaches but u ignore that part. We know why

Why should everyone agree when they weren't at the game? You sound like ho like i attacked your mother bich. And in case you aint seen i have my own opinions. Check the statistics.

U could’ve blamed the coaches, the refs, the mascot, etc etc, idgaf. The moment u decided to insert “the fans” among these reasons, I repeat, U LOSE all credibility.

It doesn’t matter if they were flat; did the football team give them a reason to be hyped? UL came right out & drove the ball down our throats, Beck was erratic all game. It certainly appeared the crowd was **** raucous after the team prematurely celebrated stopping UL from scoring on the opening drive when they only needed 2 yrds to extend the drive.

Furthermore, when we came back to seize momentum the fans were loud AF; how do I know? B/c it was commented by the telecast crew how loud the fans were & that Miami had all the momentum. U can’t expect fans to be at 100 all game when the team was flat, but more importantly the QB showed zero want or fight when things were bad.

No you sound goofy crying about my opinion of a game atmosphere i was at and you were not. Thats whats goofy, like i attacked your grandma. And i aint ready the rest of that.

The bigger issue is the student section being reserved in prime lower bowl real estate. They decided to not attend in the 1st half but magically decided to show up in 2nd half.

Smh. You realize rhe students deal with the same traffic right ?alot dont have cars and have tell in the buses. My son got on the bus just after 5 and didn't make into the game until just after miami scored their first td. Took over 2.5hrs.

I think those first two touchdowns were really out of left field. We saw some of the weirdest alignments and personnel packages used. You see a lot in football where the first few drives are scripted. I never understood that because it seems crazy to plan in advance for unknown down-and-distance. But clearly, these were a dozen fresh plays that had been drilled repeatedly and thrown at them in rapid succession.

Adjustments were definitely made and they played better. But that long drive in the second half was a killer and their were some really questionable calls. One in particular stood out where Bain and Messidor were on the same side like we often see on passing downs. Except there was no-one on the other side. The LB looked to fill but then bailed out. Sure as ****, they ran straight at the gap and didn't get touched for 10 yards and a first down. It was clear as day on TV and drove me bananas.

If I told you that UL would only score 10 points from midway through the first quarter to the end of the game….you wouldn’t take that? You wouldn’t say that the defense must have played really, really well in that timeframe? Come on man.
