Do you really want to know where that hate comes from?

that negative comment was posted by a member of the 'tribe' and im sure its nothing personal against Sitkowski, but Art does have that 'Master Race' look ...so 10/1 the guy who made that post is going to root for the African-American kid no matter what, so
Sits will just have to make him eat his words

don't make #Canes football a black/white issue

I wasn't, just explaining why someone else has an obvious issue with a certain player. I mean what else is it?
Art Sitkowski does nothing but ball his *** off in every video but certain people just keep hating on him

Other than his (and I'll put this nicely) underwhelming high school stats to date, there is something intangible about this guy (can't exactly put my finger on it) that has me writing him off before he even matriculates. Kind of like the juiced up white guy with big calves decked out in Jordan gear at LA Fitness throwing down dunks before a pickup game. You just know when the game starts he's going to be awful. I hope I'm way off.

My take also. Looks mechnical, plodding, slow not jusr on the release but somehow seems like he processes slowly as a qb.

Zero to do with color... too easy to use the race card

I have to agree with this. Dude looks good everywhere except when it really matters.

He has a bit of a bounce at the end of his drop. Good qbs have a little shuffle to stabilize but his is a little too pronounced which looks like hesitation (mechanics experts correct me if I'm wrong). Other than that, Miami fans are obviously a little gunshy about guys with great physical assets who aren't gamers. Whether it was Myke Wright, Stephen Morris or Brad kaaya, art has some bad precedents.

Dude! Trust me, it has nothing to do with color. We've been fooled around here before with big name guys that looked great in tshirts and shorts, had so so stats and even great stats, for that matter, that turned out to be hot gahbage. So everyone is a lil uneasy and just taken a wait and see approach wit Sitowski. Nothing more nothing less. Nothing racial homie.

Truth be told, we don't know exactly why someone would post a negative comment about any of our commits,
But why so much hostility for the best looking QB prospect committed to us in years??? i mean why???

I mean if its not because of his look, what is it?

Oh is it because he threw INT's playing in a wing T offense with flyweights as offensive lineman? that's Absurd!

I could say the exact same thing about you in your constant hate of Perry...

The hypocrisy is hilarious. Sitkowski looks great in shorts during drills, but in actual games has yet to show it.

His Junior year was bad regardless of whatever excuses people wanna accompany to it, 5TD's & 10INT's even in a Wing-T Offense is simply inexplicable.

If Perry put up those type of numbers you would be the main one trashing him, **** Perry put up the best numbers in the state of FLA for 2 years in a row & you still trash him every chance you get lol.

Nobody hates Sitkow because of his skin color, most people are just waiting to see if how he looks in camps actually translates on the field in actual games.

The same way you're trying to make an asinine argument that people are negative against him because of how he "looks", I could just as easily make the same lazy argument that you only like him for that very same reason.

Stop being stupid.

Yes, but then you knew that. Make sure to always check which account you're using, it would be embarrassing for you to get tripped up.

Wow, first post is extremely sexist. Why do you have to associate being a downer with womens?

Don't violate this safe space with your male centricism

When did The Franchise become anything other than an old white man? I'm sure he will enjoy the upgrade in crank size now that he has changed his skin color.

Sitkowski has a lot to prove this year at IMG. I'm hopeful, but also skeptical. I'm about as white as they come. What the he11 does that have to do with anything you salty a55 cracka?

Good coaches put players in positions to succeed. He won't have to be Kobe Bryant here. He just needs to harness his skill-set and athleticism, which are elite, and stay within the system. This kid will be very good in Richt's system.

Except that he's recruited/groomed by a QB whisperer and soon to be surrounded by better talent. It's Richt's precedents that should be of relevance here, not mediocre Miami HCs/OCs.

Possibly, but again, you're talking about a kid who hasn't been playing in QB-friendly systems. He'll thrive at Miami with, S&C, Richt's QB-oriented system, elite talent, and a RS year to grow (so the Perry thing is a plus) and run the scout team. I think those factors made him gravitate toward Miami, and his elite skill-set, intangibles, and raw tools made Richt zero in on him.

Is sit even starting this year?

he may not, but that just means in his current circumstance and stage of development, there may be someone better than him at IMG. He's a project that that has the luxury of getting better coaching (a year at IMG, a RS year, and a year backing up someone at Miami) before he'll have to step in run the show at Miami.

His athleticism is far from elite.
