VaTech to build on Campus Airport to Aid in Recruiting

Clemson can keep thier F'ing slide wholly crap James Franklin in his introduction video at the 1:19:00 mark said VaTech will be fasting tracking the building of an on campus airport to expedite staff yravel when recruiting. I am assuming it will be a small puddle jumper airport to connect with Renoake-Blacksburg Airport ( regional). This man is gonna be a problem for Miami, dammit but iron sharpens iron!

The real question is where did VaTech find this money tree to afford Franklin, the expensive staff, and CAPEX?

Any competent coach will be a problem for Miami at VT, UNC, Louisville, FSU, Clemson…

Frank Beamer is the quintessential example.

I really hope and expect that he can turn VT into a consistent Top 20ish team. If we can keep our current momentum, Dabo turns things around and FSU finally figures **** out maybe the ACC can get some **** respect. With how top heavy the B1G is, they're basically what the ACC could be if Miami, FSU, VT, Clemson and maybe one other school could all consistently be Top 20ish teams.

I’d be curious how Virginia justifies the carbon expense of a private airport and private travel for coaches and recruits to their student body and faculty.

This must be what Franklin meant about fast tracking the airport, sounds like it's expansion has been on going since 2020.

theyre building an airport for a 45 min drive? it can take that long to get from MIA to UM lol
