We can debate this all day and how we brought this on ourselves, but one thing is certain: Scheduling aggressively OOC doesn't mean a **** thing.
You'd think Miami would get something for daring to play Notre Dame, Florida and South Florida OOC. Nope, we would have been better off beating on pure trash and running up the score. The fact that ACC, Big XII and G5 teams have to go **** near undefeated, just to have a shot is a joke, because going undefeated in the regular season doesn't happen that often. People act like it's easy to do that, especially in a college football world where talent parity is higher than ever.
At this point, it's tough to give a **** about this stuff, because ultimately, unless you do something that happens for most schools once a lifetime, it's very likely you won't get in unless you fit some kind of narrative.
