Miami added their second commitment via the portal in as many days, as Vanderbilt safety Savion Riley announced his intention to transfer to the Canes.

The product of Kennesaw Mountain HS in Georgia is listed at 6-2, 202 pounds and recorded 48 tackles for the Commodores this season. Safety is a major position of need for Miami after losing starters Kam Kinchens and James Williams to the draft.

I’m pretty sure this was his first year getting snaps. Maybe redshirted his freshmen year so Redshirt Sophomore.

Seems like there’s a ton of potential to continue to develop.

Canesport said Jadias Richard could move to Safety in 2024. He would essentially be Kam replacement with Riley replacing James.
