No, more like just showed up at the school unannoucned and asked to speak to him, put him on the spot and convinced him to take the OV, since it didnt seem like anyone has been answering the phone or returning calls to our staff since the LSU trip.

Have to say thats a BOSS move if he did. Bascially went right at the kid and turned the heat up to get him to agree to the OV.

Impossible. He is signed, sealed, and delivered to L$U. He wouldn't have been compensated so handsomely had he agreed to take an OV to Miami.
 
Realistically out of the final guys that are interested (Valentine,Jackson,Galliard,Bo,Lenius,Njoku,Treon,Ross) How many can we take. How's the # situation look after EE's?
 
Exactly! so not sure when some of these guys on here would prefer he use it considering he is coming for an OV on Friday. Les is reportedly having an in home on Thursday so then our staff gets the weekend to try and close him.

My buddy played for Louisville and his kid is going into 11th grade next year and is an up and coming RB prospect with some minimal offers right now. I asked him about his 5 offical visits he took and how he wound up playing @ Louisville under John L. Smith

He told me the school mattered to him first because he would be spending the next 4-5 years living there and wanted to feel completely comfortable. 2nd was his position coach ( which could always leave for another school or get fired) you'd be spending more time with them then anyone else and finally was the Head coach..

Now, that's a freaking stretch if I ever heard one. There are dozens of S. FL kids right here at UM! Now, you mean to tell me that a couple of Floridians in Cajun land got the bond that (Navarro claims) fostered LSU to lead UM??!!! GTFOH with dat!

Of course, they can always pull the "Tracy Howard treatment" on TV when he visits, and get all the incoming S. FL stud recruits to UM to visit and let TV know: "Why not do it for your hometown"? and get him to 'See It Through' and win the Championship right here.

Obviously phone calls werent working, becuase accordign to all sources, the staff was totally in the dark as to what was going on with the kid and if he would take the OV. The fact that AG showed up at the school, leads me to think they wanted to put him on the spot and get him to agree to the OV. And honestly, when I said 'unannounced" I was including just a spur of the moment type trip, not something that had been planned days ago. Maybe they called on their way there and said "hey were in the neighborhood can we drop by"? To me that would be pretty close to dropping by unannouced.

The idea would be to surprise the kid and corner him where he couldnt avoid our calls or contact.
