If we were coming off an 11-win season that featured a competent defense then the money talk wouldn't be so easy to dismiss. When you don't win people can point to your failings and not other issues(money) that actually might be valid.

By no strange coincidence, the people defending Genron have also been the same people who have been beating the anti-Golden/Coach D drum the hardest. TV may go to LSU because he likes it better. He may go there because he likes the cajun accent and the taste of gumbo. He may pay them to go there. None of that changes that the situation at his school, and the DC at that school are odd and the DC has a negative history of being a street agent with anti-Miami sentiment.

According to the Miami Herald Al Golden visited Valentine today and he is visiting this weekend. He owes that much at least to Hurlie Braown who is his recruiter and the person who will take the heat. Folks LSU is not Alabama and I think Golden gets a National Championship before Miles!
