Al Golden stopped by to see Valentine at school today. Valentine seemed impressed and is all set to take his OV this weekend. Not done yet!!

Coaches/Handlers

For as much as people hate the term "handler", this is how the recruiting game is played today and I'm not talking about paying them. Yearby would not be a Hurricane if not for the relationship between Coley and his handler. That's just how it works.

Is it only South Florida that have "handlers"? Why would a kid need a handler if he has a good parent(s) guiding him and protecting his interest? If that is the case, then it speaks volume to the lack of family structure and good parenting in the community. Sorry to have to say that but that is the obvious explanation to me.

We didn't hear of "handlers" during Deon Bush and Tracey Howard recruitment. Both come from good family guided by strong parenting The talented kids who have weak family support who are the ones who need handlers. Unfortunately, they are abundant in SF.

Correct me if im wrong but doesnt contact period end on Sunday night and it is dead until NSD next Wednesday?

Agree with you in principle but I did see a lot of people with that F$U stuff about Bush and the handler $$$ about Howard. NONE of which was true. Our fans tend to do that though.

TV is a once a generation player so he is the kind of kid that money could be involved with but sometimes its just the Kid and no $$$ involved.

Wasn't to long ago that when Sticks/Geno etc went to WVU everyone claimed Damon was $elling his players, right up until Malcolm and Howard shut that nonsense up.

Al needs to feed these remaining recruits all the slick talking used car sales crap he can muster. Guy has the BOTC behind him, hopefully he can convince these younguns too.

Quiet Period on Sunday and Dead Period starts Monday...so yeah, there was no better time to use that bullet than right now
