Landing him would be great for two reasons:

Stud recruit

People back peddling on him getting paid and his school being shady.

Genron and his school will remain shady whether TV goes to LSU, Miami or North Dakota St.

He's been on several unofficial visits.

I get that officials are a different breed, but if the interest wasn't there and it was completely a done deal to LSU, I could not see him taking this trip.

As a counter: If he did get paid and so did his coaches, what is LSU going to do if he decides to sign with Miami? Ask for the money back? Genron would probably get screwed out of future deals but kids can always take the money and run.
