Its obvious that TV's handlers, who also happen to be his coaches, have taken over the process. The handlers are likely getting paid very good $ to deliver TV.

TV very much wants to go to Miami; however, he is a 17 year old kid with no parental guidance. He is surrounded by a bunch of leeches. They have convinced him that our defensive scheme sucks and he will not be admitted. Hopefully we can find a way to get him on campus this weekend and convince the kid to stay home. Again, the handlers are likely being paid alot of $ to deliver the message to TV and keep him away from the Miami coaches.

I think one thing we all know is that TV is easily persuaded. Obviously since he's been committed to 3 different schools and LSU would make 4.. They know if he visits this weekend there is a high chance he commits back to us.. They will do anything to make sure this doesn't happen. I think it's always come down to who had the last crack at him. I believe Al and Hurlie knew this and made sure they got the last visit but didn't expect to get shutdown beforehand. **** is stressful.

Option 1 - Admit Onfrio and Golden's scheme sucks and maybe, just maybe, the kid was swayed because he doesn't want to be dropping into coverage or told not to rush upfield in order to occupy multiple blockers. Maybe, just maybe...he made a decision based on the results ON THE FIELD.

Option 2 - Blame it on street agents, money, and in general...circumstances out of Golden's control thus the fat *** car salesman can't be blamed and Don Bailey Jr equilibrium is reached.

Complete and pervavsive contextual ignorance. You have no clue what you are talking about as it relates to this specific recruit. It's a buyout. All that's missing is the invoice stamped in purple and whatever color of urine they pair with it.

Any other D line recruit might be a different story. I don't have any knowledge on them.

I'm fully aware cash comes into play with recruits...but that's always been the case. My point is very simple...these Don Bailey Jr fools will EXCLUSIVELY blame missing out on top recruits on cash, street agents, and whatever the **** else they can make up. All in the name of not admitting Golden simply isn't getting the job done.

Well, even those are not mutually exclusive. It might be that some kid walks away from UM exclusively because of money, street agents, etc., and the staff still isn't getting the job done.

In that context, pointing to scheme and other issues to explain that kid's departure, in effect, would be excusing the shady stuff, as the kid would have come notwithstanding the scheme issues.

Bottom line--we don't know if it is one, the other or a combination. We're all guessing and no one's guess is better than any other at this stage.

And, I'm not defending the staff here.

Some people cant put aside their obsession with trashing the staff long enough to see the forest for the trees. I have no doubt that TV and probably many other kids were concerned about our struggles, but most other programs had struggles this year too. UGA went 8-5 this year, and amazingly managed to come to So Fla, and get "life long Canes fan", who we had recruited since the 8th grade, to commit to UGA, and refuse to talk to our coaches, or even take an OV. But people think its because of Richt's Jedi mind power, and that our staff apparently shows up to talk to kids wearing big red noses and floppy shoes. The act like the fact a kid has a notorious street agent as his "representative" pushing him to a notoriously dirty $EC program, and thats not going to have any impact.

This is hilarious coming from the guy who is OBSESSED with a coaching a staff that gives up 500 yards a game like it going out of style. The really ironic thing is that every time you try to attack those of us who actually see through the bull****....you're in essence describing your little Don Bailey Jr cult, just in the opposite direction.

So when two groups of people have such opposite opinions you should turn to the facts...no? I mean we've now endured 3 straight bad coaching staffs and over 10 years of mediocrity. At what point does the Don Bailey Jr crew waive the white flag?

Our defense stinks and LSU pays big money to anyone who gets them who they want. Both those things are true. TV was the fix for our defense and he knew it. Something else factored in and what it was is clear--$$$$$$. I believe TV wanted to play at THE U, but like he said, going to LSU is like signing NFL contract.

One top prospect the Tigers were looking to make an impact with was 6-foot-3, 340-pound defensive tackle Travonte Valentine from Champagnat Catholic in Hialeah, Fla. This was Valentine's first trip to Baton Rouge and by all accounts, things went extremely well.

Valentine's mother, Michelle Samuel, spent a lot of time around LSU recruiting coordinator Frank Wilson, defensive backs coach Corey Raymond, defensive line coach Brick Haley and assistant athletic director for football operations Sam Nader, who spent a large part of Saturday evening with her. It seems Samuel built a good rapport with the staff and really likes what the program has to offer.

Valentine was hosted by LSU rising sophomore defensive back Rashard Robinson, who also took classes at Champagnat Catholic last year. The two have built a really good relationship and Robinson has been a key factor in Valentine's recruitment.

Now all eyes will be watching to see if Valentine takes his scheduled official visit to Miami next weekend. After Valentie took an unofficial visit to Miami last week, sources said he may just shut down his recruitment and announce on National Signing Day on Feb. 5.

Whether it happened or not, what do you expect from a bunch of posters on the site with no ability to investigate the situation?

They make inferences and go from there. You can use your own judgment. I think most people (including our school) know it is happening and it is pretty widespread.

With that being said...Does anyone on this site have proof that Patrick Peterson got paid by LSU? I assure you the picture below is fake.
