Not even the coaches know
I'm no expert, but that can't be a good sign.
Not even the coaches know
Its obvious that TV's handlers, who also happen to be his coaches, have taken over the process. The handlers are likely getting paid very good $ to deliver TV.
TV very much wants to go to Miami; however, he is a 17 year old kid with no parental guidance. He is surrounded by a bunch of leeches. They have convinced him that our defensive scheme sucks and he will not be admitted. Hopefully we can find a way to get him on campus this weekend and convince the kid to stay home. Again, the handlers are likely being paid alot of $ to deliver the message to TV and keep him away from the Miami coaches.

Option 1 - Admit Onfrio and Golden's scheme sucks and maybe, just maybe, the kid was swayed because he doesn't want to be dropping into coverage or told not to rush upfield in order to occupy multiple blockers. Maybe, just maybe...he made a decision based on the results ON THE FIELD.
Option 2 - Blame it on street agents, money, and in general...circumstances out of Golden's control thus the fat *** car salesman can't be blamed and Don Bailey Jr equilibrium is reached.
Sorry to interrupt Don Bailey Jr excuse hour....as you were.
Complete and pervavsive contextual ignorance. You have no clue what you are talking about as it relates to this specific recruit. It's a buyout. All that's missing is the invoice stamped in purple and whatever color of urine they pair with it.
Any other D line recruit might be a different story. I don't have any knowledge on them.
WTF are you talking about?
I'm fully aware cash comes into play with recruits...but that's always been the case. My point is very simple...these Don Bailey Jr fools will EXCLUSIVELY blame missing out on top recruits on cash, street agents, and whatever the **** else they can make up. All in the name of not admitting Golden simply isn't getting the job done.
Well, even those are not mutually exclusive. It might be that some kid walks away from UM exclusively because of money, street agents, etc., and the staff still isn't getting the job done.
In that context, pointing to scheme and other issues to explain that kid's departure, in effect, would be excusing the shady stuff, as the kid would have come notwithstanding the scheme issues.
Bottom line--we don't know if it is one, the other or a combination. We're all guessing and no one's guess is better than any other at this stage.
And, I'm not defending the staff here.
Some people cant put aside their obsession with trashing the staff long enough to see the forest for the trees. I have no doubt that TV and probably many other kids were concerned about our struggles, but most other programs had struggles this year too. UGA went 8-5 this year, and amazingly managed to come to So Fla, and get "life long Canes fan", who we had recruited since the 8th grade, to commit to UGA, and refuse to talk to our coaches, or even take an OV. But people think its because of Richt's Jedi mind power, and that our staff apparently shows up to talk to kids wearing big red noses and floppy shoes. The act like the fact a kid has a notorious street agent as his "representative" pushing him to a notoriously dirty $EC program, and thats not going to have any impact.
Well if Hurlie is as close to the family as I've heard and he can't even get near TV cause of the coaches then even I'll say somethings shady...
Bull**** ... if there was so much proof of cash exchanging hands out with it. Prove that TV decided to go to a better program because of cash or some other benefit. If you clowns have proof, then I would also believe the coaches have proof and they would go to NCAA and report it ... bunch of sour grapes.
The following quotes from Valentine were from SFHighSchoolSports.com, which I follow on twitter:
SUNDAY, JANUARY 26th-WEEKEND QUICK HITTERS
**I asked Champagnat Catholic DT Travonte Valentine how his LSU trip was and his response – “It fits my country personality.”
He added the trip “was amazing.”
Forget it, it's over. He's gone. Hope we get Gaillard (who btw is ranked much higher on ESPN.COM tifwiw)
.Keef n Bostwick pushed this DL back a year n now Tv will push it back again. An elite dt fsu n the sec will not allow us 2 get 1, they do n e thing they can. This kid was the most important piece 2 the class. We will never b back without n elite dt n we fked in 2015 cuz there isnt n e. Not like we would get n elite dt in 15 n e way. We cant pay kids on probation period, we will stay mediocre 4 a long time. Wyche n hurt r ok but not Tv...........AG had to get him n mom to visit![]()
Sorry I can't type with all these ****s in my hand. Let me put them back in my mouth.
Some of you fools spouting off various conspiracy theories need a lesson in Occam's Razor.
