Valentine down to Miami and LSU

I have a bad feeling about what happens when Miles and Chavis turn on film of their defense for him.

If he picks LSU, I don't wanna hear anything about grades.

You just heard it straight from the horse's mouth: 3.2 GPA.

3.2 means nothing. Core GPA is the key.

/not saying grades are or aren't a problem.

Not only that, but what does his SAT or ACT score look like. You gotta have the GPA and test score to qualify! Lots of kids find someone to help that GPA. The test score is a different animal, since you actually have to take the test yourself. When was the last time we lost a kid who had a good test score, but lousy GPA? That's right, I can't think of one either.

Kid sounds sensible to me. Really want him. LSU is tough to beat, but their DT's bust in the NFL a lot. TV's idol, Big Daddy, #75, is still rocking and rolling. Stay home Valentine. This class is one for the ages and you should lead the running of the bulls. LSU is on downturn now. You at NT makes everybody on this defense better, **** you at NT will make the coaches better. Chad is going to kill QBs while they are ducking to linemen you ram back in they face.

“I just want them to show me which team really needs me. What team needs a player that can make an impact? That is what is most important to me when it comes down to decide. I want to be a legend wherever I go like Warren Sapp or Vince Wilfork,” Valentine said. “I want to be one of the best and I want to play right away.”

All those **** idiots on Facebook need to be lining up in a single file line and sucking Valentine's big finger right now.

It's all about whether he wants to take an extra foreign language credit that Miami requires but LSU doesn't, has nothing to do with GPA.

LSU definitely has the recent history of nfl d linemen but many of them have been busts like glen dorsey and tyson jackson.

I thought Dorsey was somewhat overstated coming out of LSU but the Chiefs wasted him at 3-4 nose tackle, just like we're apparently determined to make the least of Valentine's skill set.

Disruptive penetrators need to be unleashed at defensive tackle in a 4-3. Note the communication with Moten. Two guys side by side wrecking havoc. I'd feel much better about our chances if we were a pure 4-3 upfield team, like the old days. LSU can show Valentine tape like that while we have to dance around and pretend. Nobody wants to deal with a center in front of him with guards taking shots at him from either side.

For those that know can TV realistically start at LSU from day 1 like he can here if he's all that he's hyped up to be?

Yeah...cuz they NEVER play Olsen Pierre and Luther Robinson as a 3 technique

“I want him to tell me about the situation if he was going to leave and people say just because a Head Coach is leaving, it doesn’t mean anything. No, if a Head Coach leaves then other coaches on the staff might not have their jobs. For people to bash at me for that was silly because when you think about it, Coach Hurlie might not have been there and that new Head Coach might have brought his own staff in."

Seems pretty logical if you ask me.

And I don't blame him.

Definitely fair and logical. Obviously the thing that Al has to help him in this situation is having gone to PSU. Regardless of the job you think he is doing here or how he handled the potential move to PSU, in regards to addressing TV's concerns, I think that he can honestly say 'Yeah, I did talk to PSU. I love it here at Miami , but PSU is my alma mater and it is the only other place I would consider going and I wanted to hear them out. They just hired a new coach so you don't have to worry about me going anywhere anytime soon.' Something to that affect is the (hopefully) the truth and I think most people can sympathize with that. Hopefully that is enough for TV.
