Valentine down to Miami and LSU

if Al misses TV then he is dead to me. You can't lose Valentine, Cook, Powell, Lane, Rudolph, Dixon, K.Clark, Sony and Treon in a given cycle. That would be coming off losing almost everyone who was anyone in the tri-county area the year before. Its nice that we have Chad and Kc, but these are the guys that would be Canes if I were the head coach. James Coley is the only reason Yearby is a Cane. If Golden can't keep more guys home , then he needs to find a new home himself.

But but but, it's still a top 10

Still a massive failure to lose all of them in one cycle.

And oh, the slurpers here will claim Al is some sort of genius for hiring Coley and therefore deserves the credit for Yearby and Kaaya.

**** bro.. so you're telling me if you were coaching that you would land every player you wanted and no schools would be even remotely able to recruit kids you wanted?? well why aren't you coaching then man?? you should apply at the next job that opens up and with your recruiting capabilities you'll be able to turn any scool into a national title contender in a mere 3 years..

yea that's exactly what I said  . There are some guys that are just Canes and it doesn't matter who the coach is (i.e. Duke, Chickillo, Kc, Darling). I'm merely pointing out that ANYONE that coaches the U is going to bring in at least some top talent just on name of the program and proximity. In order to win here you need to do better than that. You must convince a majority of your homegrown talent to stay home and represent and Golden simply isn't doing it right now.

yea i get what your trying to say buddy but don't backtrack and take back what you said about how you can out-recruit anybody and you would personally be able to land the greatest classes in the history of college football.. if thats the case why are you on a message board and not out producing championships??

No he isn't. Golden at a minimum needs to close on half of those. That's his last great claim to fame is his supposed recruiting skills.

i comprehended it just fine.. what you guys are is a bunch of whining star ***** ******* who just want every coach to fail and dont see the big picture. everybodys "homeboy" randy left the program in an absolute mess with no talent and all you guys do is ***** about golden. get over yourselves. you think he wants to lose?? he wants to win 1000000 times more than you bunch of losers. with the jackasses in south florida pushing every single kid elsewhere because they get something out of it.

Ignorance is bliss. Keep on drinking the kool-aid that corch Al is making.

LOL, you know when you lost the argument? When you feel the need to call people names. Coker and Shannon didn't want to lose either, you see what that got us.

Miami's class as it stands right now has way more than enough raw talent to win and win big. Stack two more classes like this (while obviously meeting positional needs) and that is a roster with elite talent. A good coach could dominate with classes like this one.

And therein lies the problem. Golden doesn't seem to have the coaching ability to utilize this talent.

only way I give Golden a pass on not firing Dorito is if somehow we pull in valentine back in.

Without Valentine, there is a major hole in this class. A 2 year haul of Anthony Moten and Courtel Jenkins is quite simply not good enough. We cannot continue to miss at DT and then try and patch up failure with JuCos, who are wildcards on the field (and that is assuming you can squeeze them thru the UM admission dept- you know how that goes...)

He could sign Jesus and still gets no pass for not firing Dorito.

If Dorito screws up all the people we are bringing up, there is no doubt he is gone. Valentine would prove to Golden Dorito is really that bad. Kinda why we need him.

Agree with your point but that is why I added the qualifier of meeting positional needs. I was meaning the overall talent of this class is national title caliber with the proper coaching. I believe, on paper, this is the best class Miami has had in a while.

On a related note, I think recruiting services, while much improved over the years, underrate South Florida recruits because these services can only give so many players from each area of the country 4 and 5 stars. There would be outrage if the state of Florida had 15 five stars and 50 for stars! There are guys that are 3 stars that are really 4 star talent and 4 stars that are really 5 star talent but won't get rated that way for various reasons, such as the regional balance issue. I think Miami has several of these underrated guys in this class.

After lasts years ownage by jimbo in the closing area i gave up on him as a elite recruiter. FSU is whipping our *** on the trail n they will continue to until we stop them from getting kids who should b canes. Valentine would b a huge pull because after next year Dlineman r gonna want to play with him.

I think Tv is so important that if he goes elsewhere this regime will eventually lose there jobs, TV can fix this D

You act as if the kid has no say in where he goes. That's my biggest problem with most fans. No one knows the reasons a kid has in choosing where he goes. I don't give a **** what the trolls and ***.E Gayously say. It's not as black and white as Golden failed/landed a kid. Just like we had Duke, Chick and Darling all of whom have wanted to attend UM since they were little kids other schools have the same type of kids. Or it could be a Keef situation, everyone in that kids family pushed him away from staying in SoFla, or it could be a Lane situation where he wants to blow loads on his BF's face in college. Or maybe not everyone in SoFla likes Miami. Just because you grew up in the 305 and always loved UM doesn't mean the kids do. For all we know Cook idolized Warrick Dunn growing up.

Cook grew up on UM so try again, n secondly if Saban were here for example hed clean up sfla recruitong. But this university is 2 cheap which is y we have ther esults we been having. Most kids from sfla grow up loving Um but whoss taff would u trust jimbo or al? Jimbo is sending kids 2 the league n its not his coaching its thew ay he recruited specifically sfla. Hes kept UM in the gutter by putting all his resources in sfla hes killing 2 birds with 1 stone. Take elite talent from sfla=um will lose.
