FSU recruits well because they play well, and are coached well. Same-same with Alabama.

Every1 blames the coaches which theres xs and o's r terrible, but they try erthing to recruit which tells u miami cant compete at n elite level. This program wont change with a head coaching change, this program killed itself joining the ACC. The only way i see is if they change the higher up.....we need a prez that there number 1 focus is football then n only then UM will b back the way we want it.

Please describe to me the difference in our defense in Golden's first game against Maryland, and out last blowout loss versus Louisville?

Could you imagine what Narduzzi (yes I have a man crush on him) would do with the players currently on the team and the ones coming in.

His defense is amazing.

Yep. Would love to see it at Miami since that's where he learned it from. We have the blueprint and access to the players that can execute that defensive scheme. I just wish golden would realize that. It would give this program a nice shot in the arm

I totally agree. That's what scares me most about golden. He recruits kids that could play that system but doesn't change his ways to utilize them correctly.

Dude I understand the angst, but do you really think this is helpful? You guys keep laughing when I say this, but imagine if a recruit or their family member is on this board reading about what fans are saying about them, and read this stuff day in and day out? These kids live for the attention they get from websites and twitter. Weve been hearing that it could be 50/50 for JC, Gaillard, and maybe Ross. We know that some of them read these boards, and their families do too. If all they read is our fans talking about how awful our staff and coaching is, I dont see how that is going to help us. I mean come next Thursday, have at it. Call AG every insult you can imagine, and I know you are pretty creative with them.

We all get heated and spout off sh*t in here. But right now, were in clutch time. Any little thing can tip the balance with any one of these kids. I just think we should be trying to encourage kids to come here by any means we can. Sell the best parts of the program, at least til NLOID. After that, whatever. I mean I know you guys dont think it matters, but why add more negative fodder to our recruiting?

The University investigated, and Butch was clean. Fired since he was HC to head off trouble with the NCAA, but Butch was clean.
