The only game I really remember from the ealry 90's was when we lost to Nbraska in the OB in 95, I just remember my pops being mad, and yeah my first experience of Cane football that I could understand was the Butch Era, and like you said by then FSU was dominating CFB, I would always wonder why Miami couldn't beat florida state, and being from Tallahassee OMG I was around nothing but FSU fans all my friends are FSU fans, so I grew to not like them a whole lot

Then hating the noles most of all is permissible, just know in your heart they were our ******* for about 20 years. Oh, one more thing, the final game of our first NC season was in Tally at night. We needed to win to get the Bowl game against NE. They were ahead and in closing seconds Bernie got us close enough to try a field goal. Was it wide right, nope; wide left, nope; short, nope. Jeff Davis, who had missed a couple in the game, drilled it for the win by 1 point. I was humming that frigging chant for hours.
