Here are the results of the Coastal Champions in their bowl game over the last 5 years:

2019: UVA lost to UF (by 8)
2018: Pitt lost to Stanford (by 1)
2017: Miami lost to Wisc (by 10)
2016: VT beat Arkansas (by 11)
2015: UNC lost to Baylor (by 11)

The Coastal Champ's only win was against a 7-6 (3-5) Arkansas team.

you get alot of heat for being a Gaytor on this site, but i must say, your the only realistic gaytor fan ive ever met.

I appreciate that. Don't get me wrong, i'm not down on my team. I think we can compete for the CFP with a few more tweaks here and there but we have some stuff to seriously clean up. We're still lacking offensively when it comes to recruiting the skilled position. Our recruiting class so far, while nice, looks like a Muschamp class heavy on great D talent but just meh offensive talent.

You guys are in a way better situation than us or FSU. I don’t think Mullen is going to get you guys to the playoffs tho. Still way better than the sh..tshow down in Coral Gables.

I don't know man, y'all have been VERY harsh with your current 2020 class. Not you in particular, just the general feel I get the in Recruiting Board section. I'm not sure what's going on with recruiting at the OT and DT positions for Miami, but that sticks out to me like a sore thumb as something that GOTTA get corrected ASAP. I see people not too thrilled with the recruiting at DB too.

As far as Manny and leading y'all, y'all reminded me of how we looked in 2011 under Muschamp. You see talent, just no guidance at the HC position and it created a trickle down affect. What "saved" him is he could recruit and Meyer left him a lot of talent.

The problem is Manny only got two o-lineman and one corner. Which both positions are very thin and in the olines case not very talented. As for the Muschamp comparison at least Muschamp could recruit. Manny can’t even do that and is in way over his head. Plus the players are so unmotivated to play for him.The problem is unlike Florida and FSU our administrators won’t do a thing about it for 4-5 years.
