Most disappointing thing for them was their OL though. So many illegal man down field penalties.

Yeah, that O line embarrassed themselves. I knew they’d have some drop off at the skill spots but their line couldn’t run block or pass protect at all. On top of it, they had a ton of penalties.

Tonight was Sam Howell in a nutshell. I never got the pro hype. His arm talent is through the roof but he is reckless with the ball and holds on to it way too long. He had talent around him last year so he could really shine. But put him with recievers that aren’t constantly streaking open and backs that don’t run for 150 a game and he struggles. His mental isn’t there and never has been. That doesn’t bode well for a good NFL career IMO.

I watched it with a couple of Carolina fans and they said in the first quarter that Mack had a nervous look. He just looked uncomfortable all game. No confidence at all.
