Who would have thought that a team that got slapped around by FSU last year, with multiple NFL guys on the roster would get slapped by another mediocre team a year later, after losing a ton of talent? Listen, VT is always going to play hard, they are historically a team that plays above their actual talent level, but UNC is exactly what they've been whenever people put expectations on them: Underachievers.
Mack Brown and Butch Davis have a lot in common(and both have coached at UNC), they are average gameday coaches that can't consistently get the most out of their athletes. I hope that when Manny and Co watch this film, they see that this UNC DL is awful in regards to contain, and also gap control. VT was breaking off chunks on the perimeter.
