Me, I don't look at it as a gambler but more as a fan of the Miami HURRICANES. I just want a WIN. However why is the spread 2.5
 


If Lashlee can't exploit these holes

Baker has to figure out how to get three or four stops. That could force tech to quit. They got players ready to give up on Fuente
 
This morning the Moneyline is +115 Canes..that's your better play over the spread as Canes -105 . Translation for the novice gambler:

$100 on Canes +2.5 (-105) = $95 payout roughly
$100 on Canes ML (+115) = $115 payout

Now you can parlay the ML with the over in points (68):
$100 on Canes = $310

Same payout if you parlay ML and the under in points....
 
ML is now +125 at Bookmaker and other spots. This line has zigzagged, there is no clear consensus. Here's a snippet because the week long history is too long to fit in one image, but suffice it to say that we opened +2.5 at Pinnacle, it dropped to +2 and it rose back to +2.5. Now, you may think that's not good, and that's true, but you have to pay attention to the vig. VT was -2.5 -113 at 2am and now VT is -2.5 -108. These few cent moves on the vig are trending late in our favor and this line will assuredly move considerably prior to noon. But I'd say you can't look at the line and say "sharps clearly love VT". So everyone needs to stay calm. I'll let you know when it's time to worry. We aren't there just yet.

Yeah I agree. Line moves on totals are wildly inaccurate so I usually avoid them, especially with the Canes so I don’t need to root for our opponent to score or for us to not to.

I'm a wildman on the totals, brother. Main source of gambling income.

I've been very tame this year though, the games are weird and you don't have all of the info to make a good call on those...but this one seems destined to be another 40-something to 40-something affair. We'll see.
 
Just for shets sake, I went and checked the scores against the lines of the top 11 teams (minus us) in their last games.
The point differential between what Vegas posted and the outcome was about 20 points per game.

My conclusion...
Miami by 19.

This is an exact science.

I've been feeling the over all week.
I agree on 75 to 80 on this one, but I keep hearing my uncle Rocco....
If you think it's too easy...

So, now i'm thinking 41-28, or 38-31, something like that.
