Yup. Last year. And people here wanted to fire Manny after those games. What’s your point? We lost to Flu and Latech

The corners aren’t great. They occasionally get beat but linebackers are terrible on every playThere are 4 more games, we'll get there. The cornerbacks leave a lot to be desired also.
On our schedule? Clemson and maybe UNC. Pitt is good but we played them without Picket and struggled. How much stock do you put into that game? Do we beat NC State with their starting QB? I’m not sold we do. VT just lost to Liberty and are favored to beat us. I guess they’re good but I’m not even sure. At the end of the season, Pitt, Nc state, VT, Louisville, may all have 4-5 losses. Is that good? Then who do you consider to be “good”? I mean yes, we can all agree that the top 5 teams are all pretty good but is that where it ends? Because you can find significant faults with pretty much every team after that.
Projecting much? For someone who doesn’t value my opinion, you sure have a funny way of showing it. I wouldn’t discuss posting history considering you spent the majority of your time obsessing over fans on this board. Feel free to slip and slide your way to the ignore button. After a thorough examination of your porsting history, I’ve come to the inescapable conclusion that you are an insufferable ****.
You are actually teeing it up so that if we do manage go 10-1, which is no guarantee btw, you can beat your caved-in bird chest and say we still suck. Not only that, you sound like a bitter hag that’s cheering for us to lose, including a bowl game loss.
Slap yourself you hoe.
Not just our schedule. Who, besides pretty much the top 6 teams would you be impressed by beating? What’s your standard for “good”? You could say Oregon or Wisconsin but they’ve only played one game and it’s entirely possible for them to lose two or three games this year. I mean look at the top 25. It’s not exactly loaded with unbeatable juggernauts. On our schedule? Clemson and maybe UNC. Pitt is good but we played them without Picket and struggled. How much stock do you put into that game? Doesn't matter what Vegas thinks. Their lines reflect the mood of the betting public. It's viewers out there that think we're not up to being ranked #9.Vegas also has Michigan favored on Wisconsin.
Not all their lines are good.
I agree! Franchise and D$ had a great discussion about above average programs and who should be In that category. I have no problem putting Wisconsin, Oregon, Georgia, Oklahoma (they seem to have turned things around), in that category, off the top of my head. 2020 is a weird season so it’s difficult to evaluate programs. Not just our schedule. I would have to put Miami just outside that second tier or teams also. Too much uncertainty on defense for me. That’s not saying they wouldn’t beat any of those teams, I just wouldn’t be confident. Realistically, I’d rank them somewhere between 15-20. Not the final destination I want but a significant upgrade over the last 15 years or so.I agree! That being said, because of our Defense, I do not believe Miami belongs in that category, yet. Certainly, no one we have played, thus far, not named Clemson.
That’s the pot calling the kettle black. Why should I put you on ignore when I get my daily laughs at your bltchy ***.
You’ve gotta be kidding me if you think Baker and Rumph and/or even Patke should be here coRching on defense. And @Paranos I right about Stroud - I should’ve taken what he said with the authority it deserves on the big guys. They’re not developing in technique alike they did with Simpson. Or Kul. Here’s an idea for you to chew on:Outside of Friday, can you show me a bad half of meaningful football this team has played this season?

Here’s an idea for you to chew on:
Move Stroud to recruiting and bring in Kevin Patrick from FAU.
Replace Rumph with DVD and let him have a chance.
Replace Patke with Devin Bush, Sr.
Replace Baker with any of that guys @Liberty City El suggested like Marcus Freeman at Cincinnati or even T-Rob at USCe. **** at this point, I think Muschamp will be available but he has Saban Bama Analyst written all over home.
Banda can stay. He’s a dog on the trail.
You’re reaching new levels of Slurpery this season if you’re falling on the Baker sword.
Squeaked by? Pitt and UVA were not squeaked by wins. We dominated them. We found a way to beat NCST. We will blow them out. Jump on that early.liberty is actually really good and has a better coach than we do.
Also Va Tech can score points, at home, off a bad loss and looking for a bounce back.
Miami has squeaked by the last 3 games and not looked good.
not hard to see how vegas thinks this is an even matchup. Home team always gets 3 points to start with.
Usually if you hire a new DC, he’s going to want to bring at least some of his staff with him. You’ve gotta be kidding me if you think Baker and Rumph and/or even Patke should be here coRching on defense. I don’t think that’s the only problem here when you see the way we are lining up pre-snap.Usually if you hire a new DC, he’s going to want to bring at least some of his staff with him.
No legit Coordinator wouldn’t bring his own people. This is why I think Manny doesn’t make the change.Usually if you hire a new DC, he’s going to want to bring at least some of his staff with him.
