VA Players Hotdogging

They earned their moment. It ****ed me off but the looks on their faces as we took their hearts at the end made up for it. Another team that thought they had us only to lose. That is the story of this season. The woodshed games against VT and even more wood against ND were statement games but these other ones loses will stain fus, gt and the rest with grief for a long time.
Yep.

It was reminiscent of the QB from FSU and the guys from GT. There was a ton of trash talk in those games from their sides, but the looks on their faces at the end were priceless.

Speaking of the championship game, kind of remarkable that we'd never won the coastal, and now we have a four game lead in the division.

At the start of the season we all looked at the schedule and said the ACC is ours for the taking. We as fans knew it, the media knew it, heck even most coaches in the Conference knew it.

Glad the team took care of business and took what is rightfully theirs.

Amazing what real coaching will do. Miami has always had way more talent then the rest of the coastal. Even with Golden allowing kids to get out of the state of Miami. The problem was we were always out coached in the big ACC games.

They were up at halftime on the road against the #3 team in the country. So they're feeling really good about themselves. People forget these are just college kids.
When I saw it I wasn't crazy about it but I'm not going to get worked up about it

I have no problem with Virginia talking smack. At the end of the game they showed great sportsmanship by praying with our players after the game.

Like someone said. It was there SB. There BCS bowl game on national TV. They will be going to the Burger King bowl being played on Dec 27th at 630pm on ESPNU. They are kids. They not dumb..they know it was there last shut on a national stage with the nation watching. Nobody is watching VT vs UVA outside of the state of Virginia. Let them live a little. They took that L like men at the end and they didn’t play dirty.

They were in the endzone after a touchdown, doing the UNC holding the U up and then throwing it down, it was when they were going into the West end zone. Should have gotten an unsportsmanlike conduct, but who cares, we smacked them down in the end and all that **** looks stupid now.

Pointing fingers taunting student section going into locker room @ halftime, their bench mocking/chanting Miami's defensive warm up tune prior to crowd getting really loud, cheesy **** all the way around but had to hand it to their QB; had a great day with pinpoint accuracy.

:stormwarningflag-sm

Honestly, I don't get that s**t on either side—celebrating when up at the half; or getting too down when in the toilet. This is something Mark Richt has done to change this culture, big time—keeping things even keel.

(Fans need to heed the warning as well; screaming on message boards when down 14-0 or 28-14. Let it play out. Had Miami lost—vent away—but ****ing and moaning with half a game to play; STFO.)

Down against Toledo; Diaz writing on the grease board—"We will win this game" and guys buying in and then delivering. That was lost in the Shannon / Golden era. Believing and then achieving.

Surprised that Bronco Mendenhall didn't hammer his kids harder that this was a four quarter game and the Canes are the Comeback Kings of college football. 21-14 at the half after blowing a 14-0 lead? He should been up their asses to finish. Outscored 30-7 and gave up 30 unanswered. Who's laughing now.

Also, apparently our Turnover Chain has magical powers...

Yeah, we had a black-swamp-water Louisiana voo-doo woman put a MoJo on that chain - to curse offenses on other teams - and give our defenses occasional super powers.

Hope we don't lose that sucker.

It's going to be funny when all these teams who say we're "very beatable" watch us hoist up the national championship trophy.

They every right to feel that way. They were doing their thing. The problem was they couldn’t sustaiin it.

That WR is a clown though. In the best half of football their offense will play ever they were clinging to a 1 score lead. After getting gifted a short field they got our score 30-0 and had 130 yards. Bye Felicia.

Edit: on second thought I love that the chair is being hyped as the source of power.
Yeah, the chair rocks

Fvck that praying with us after the game. They were arm in arm swaying on the sideline mocking the song they play every third down our defense faces. You had to be there.

My feeling exactly. No respect. Everyone trash talks but no use for that other cheesy ****. If you can't back it up stop with the gesturing & mocking.

Honestly, I think that's the great part of college football. The emotion, the mocking, the celebrations.

I'd like to see more of this stuff. Its what separates this game from the mostly sterile NFL

So, our turnover chain is like having a 12th man on the field? I assume it is also responsible for FSU and UF losing 6+ games each. Man, I love that thing!

Like Samson's hair?

So all it takes to go 10-0 is a cool turnover chain? Virginia must be kicking themselves for not thinking of it first.

Who cares about Virginia???!!

I'm kicking MYSELF for not thinking of it first!

I could've been the next Ed Reed and had a hall of fame NFL career if I would've had a chain!!!
