UVA vs UNC (condensed game)

A few things, the Cavs are much improved from the beginning of the season (when they were awful). And the score vs UNC was interesting, because UVA actually fumbled going into the end zone(sound familiar?) late in the fourth as they were up by 4. They really did out-play the Tar Heels legitmately.

Tony Muskett is a QB that makes quick, solid decisions and can use his legs. He's a good athlete, containment will be key. And they have a good set of offensive skill players (Perris Jones, Mike Hollins, and Malik Washington). This is a game, that if Miami overlooks them, well... you know...

Agree that this game isn't necessarily a gimme. UVA is so typical of the ACC team who loses bad out of conference games and then turns around and upsets ranked ACC teams.
 
Classic letdown game for UNC thinking they were god's gift after we gave them a victory with the TO's. But great for us as there is no way we can overlook UVA after they just did what we could not. Complete opposite of GT where they had lost to freaking Bowling Green the week before.

I knew unc would lose. Same as fsu they are going to lose. Thing is with fsu everything is bouncing their way. But this isn’t a jimbo build it’s beatable. That roster has holes.
 
UVA used up their spoiler card on UNC. If we can't mount any consistent offensive attacks to go along with our stellar defense... we will gift them another spoiler card.
 
Just on surface level watching it looks like they play a similar defense that gtech played vs us.

We really need to play faster on offense against these inferior teams. Grinding the clock and minimizing possessions magnifies turnovers and allows a team you outgain by 300 yards to stay in the game. Not expecting it, because Mario, and because of that I think these types of ACC games where we're double digit favorites are going to be unnecessary death struggles.
 
UVA shot their load for the season last week..any chance we take them lightly is out the door with that victory.

Isn't that type of loss the reason Mack got chased out of Texas? Seems he is good for one or two of those a year.
