Im not the expert on this stuff but there’s 2 pieces to this. Theres the bags to get one to verbally commit publicly. That is in no way binding.

But the upfront money of NIL is I believe where a bigger chunk of the deal is guaranteed freshman year….after they sign and less spread out over the 4 years. So in that case yeah, it could hold the class together a little better.

That said I still expect some losses if they put up a 5er or less.
