Not sure how of your age but Coach E used motion and spread the field 30 years ago. Dennis was way ahead of the times offensively. We were the only team in college football that had a more complex scheme in 1989 than 2018!

Not sure how 30 yrs ago pertains to the offensive purgatory we have been in while midwest teams like okla and OSU have been ableto benefit from spread for last decade plus. While teams used spread to get championship results we in last 15 years have struggled even while we had nfl talent.

Yes I know we used to be cutting edge on offense way back, we need to get back to that!
