USF Will Always Be A Second Tier Program

We need to start taking QB's from Miami that are underrated. Eventually one will play up to their potential an we will be rolling!

Withhim starting here we beat pitt and wouldnt be in nail biters vs unc. Wouldnt beat Clemson though

Not saying Miami wins the Clemson game but Clemson were definitely beatable by Miami with a Flowers-type talent. Don’t think the current bowl game changes with the extra win against Pitt and loss to Clemson (though a solid argument could be made for Miami over AL); but the loss to Pitt (and subsequent drubbing by Clemson) did more to open eyes to the weaknesses of the team. I guess we should thank Rosier.

Miami with Flowers is Oklahoma with a better defense...potential to hoist the trophy.

Just the fact that with an accurate passer we could have scored on any possession come on now.... our receivers were open plenty vs Clemson! Overthrowning, under throwing and throwing behind our open receivers takes its toll and it’s demoralizing. If he hits Jeff Thomas and ties the ball game at 7 it’s a total different ball game. A missed field goal and another made field goal which could have been 14points with an accurate passer. I’d also like to think that with an accurate passer maybe some of the injuries to some of our players don’t happen, it would have changed everything for us. We’ve been so used to mediocrity that we were greatful to just be undefeated not acknowledging that we had a dead fish as our Qb. I remember fools getting upset if you even misspelled Rosier Our undefeated Qb’s name like he could do no wrong. I’m guilty of it myself but I finally realized it during the UNC game.Honey moon was over it started to smell pretty bad. No one really respected our passing game that’s why so many games were so **** close cause eventually Rosier hit some open receivers and that catch by Langham vs Georgia Tech that luckily bounced off the Tech players helmet Rosier underthrew.

I think they were to strong in the trenches for us to put someone back there and win that game especially when u cant run the ball even if u tried

I respect your opinion brother, but if we had an accurate qb since te beginning of the season the wear and tear on our players would be different, we could have rested our starters our passing game would have been respected, no dialing in on the run game since Malik’s inaccuracy was part of the opposing teams defensive strategy. They gave Malik time to throw against Clemson (and Pitt) but after seeing how bad he was it must have really demoralized the team. I was loosing it but we had no one else to put in. Berrios was open he threw it behind him or too low. By the time the game was decided then our receivers couldn’t catch I forget who it was that the ball went right through his hand and it was a pick and I remember another ball hitting Irving in his hands and his helmet and another pick. The team lost their will because if you’re leader is **** it’s like a disease that spreads( a f’ing plague). Oh well on to Wisconsin let’s hope Malik plays good enough to win so we can close Storm 18 strong

We are a one dimensional ball club with Malik at the helm. Teams figured that out as they saw that we kept struggling to close out any one. Another thing Malik was so limited that Richt couldn’t open up the play book. He couldn’t even hit wide open bubble screens Gottdammit!!

What are you talking about? Flowers is way more accurate than Malik. Did you not see the ball placement today? And vs UCF or throughout his USF career? Throw into consideration how many times a quarterback throws the ball away cause of pressure when he’s flushed out of the pocket, dropped balls and yeah some bad ones but when a man was wide f@cking open he can hit them in stride and not under throw, over throw or throw behind.
