Alex Grinch isn't the problem, it's on Lincoln Riley. The man hasn't had a good defense in 5+ years. He emphasizes his offense too much. It's engraved in the culture.

Ehh, I dont think Lincoln is a super high pace high uptempo guy and he always been very good about running the ball also. USC wasnt going 3 and out, they scored like 3 tds on first 4 possessions or something like that.. The D just sucks and Lincoln hasnt corrected that with Grinch. I agree he needs to emphasize it more but I dont think the pace of offense has anything to do with it or any inefficiencies due to 3 and out of a lincoln riley offense, lol.. Run game is one of biggest parts of his scheme. The D just sucks, from first snap when no one is tired, lol..
