They are going hard after Chip Kelly.

Meanwhile, we're on here discussing MAC coaches.

It's in the BOT's hands...

If Kelly comes back to college, he'll take the Oregon job, IMO.

He's not going to USC. He has no interest in playing Oregon on an annual basis ... Especially in their current state.

Meanwhile, another "former MAC head coach" has Florida on the cusp of a top 10 ranking in his first year.

And, at least 1 of those "MAC coaches being discussed has his program in the top 25 ... And the other is likely to be ranked soon, as well.

Have some vision, man!

Look at the top programs TODAY ... Baylor, TCU, Michigan State, Utah ...

None of those schools are traditional Power Programs, And none of their coaches were "cant miss, big name" hires.

Then look at the guys reviving some programs ... Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Notre Dame, and Clemson ... All led by "MAC coaches" or an assistant coach.

Oh ... And feel free to explain why the former "MAC coach" is doing better than the former NFL head coach and GM did with the Texas A & M program ...

USC didn't fire Sark...at least not yet.

And they're not going hard after Kelly...at least not yet.

Anybody that thinks as of this morning that Chip Kelly is even remotely considering a return to college is engaged in wishful thinking at best.

Yaaaaah.

Ohio State, Michigan...those are upstarts with unproven rookies at the helm. Those Alabama and LSU squads just came out of nowhere.

I get what you're saying, but don't be a douche.

And I doubt Chip Kelly gives one **** about Oregon. And I live in Oregon. Duck fans up here are petrified he'll take the SC job.

Slow down ...

The last guy, before Meyer, to win a national title for tOSU came from coaching Youngstown State. That's an FCS program. Again, that hire required vision.

You may also want to check the records the last 2 LSU head coaches had BEFORE they got the LSU job. It's easy to see Saban and Miles were great hires AFTER the fact.

But it took some vision to see the guy who was 34-24-1 during his time at Michigan State, 23-16-1 in the conference, no conference titles, and an 0-3 bowl record could be the guy to revive the LSU program.

Also took some vision to hire a guy with 28-21 record, who never finished better than 3rd in the conference, and was 1-2 in his bowl games to replace a national championship level head coach.

Saban and Miles were not always "established coaches". And it could be argued LSU got them both BEFORE they became established.

And on the Alabama topic ... Remind me of how many failed coaches they went through trying to stay within the Bear Bryant influence? The guy who's getting it done had no connection to Alabama ...

Back on topic ... If any coach is coming from the NFL to coach USC, it's Hue Jackson, Darrell Bevell, or Jack Del Rio, IMO

Let's see how Florida finishes the season, genius. They beat an overrated Ole Miss team.

Al Golden is a MAC coach. You really want another Al Golden?

Pat Haden is an idiot. You can't fire someone who is walking into a drug and alcohol rehab center unless you want a major lawsuit on your hands.

Yeah you can. This guy was an "educator" who was drunk around his students. Good luck litigating that
