And USC lost because of bad OL play...every great offense needs great OL play.
no, they lost because of turnovers and their QB getting hurt. Sure, he got hurt on a strip sack, but Epenesa is probably the 2nd best DE in the country.

Enter Daniel EnosLiterally any passing attack is effective in the pac12 since forever.

USC had 22 yds. on 18 carries, and their QB got sacked 5 times...my point stands, their OL play was horrible.
No such thing as a great offense that accommodates Tinkerbells on the OL.
New OC, same losing team.
When the HC sucks the team sucks.
they will be much better next year. Their offense is going to be one if the best in the country.
and they still will lose just like last night.
bad coaches dont magically become good, despite your best efforts here to try to imply all we need is an OC.
USC air raid spread-24
Iowa pro style- 49
CIS..this makes no senae
Iowa’s offense was a thing beautyUSC faced a better team. Doesn’t change the fact that their offense is a thing of beauty. Iowa couldn’t stop then until USC’s QB got hurt. I would like to see that offense or something similar at Miami.
It could help motivate if properly utilized. You think wider splits are helping this offensive line?

They don't have a running game, they averaged less than 4 yds. a carry this season.
I'm not against the spread, but I'd rather have an OU or Clemson type spread with a running game.
You guys are priceless. Is this thread a parody? USC boards are loaded with threads ripping the collapse of the physical identity on offense. There are threads asking if the Harrell extension was a mistake. Within those threads are posters shouting that hiring him in the first place was a mistake. There is no running game. It is all sickening finesse. The quarterbacks are musical chairs because one after another gets battered.
Iowa's biggest problem was not to laugh.
Heck, Sean Salisbury posted a long video today ranting about all the problems in the USC program including no threat of physicality on offense.
That's what I have emphasized all along. Anyone who thinks spread is a magical cure is a fool. It needs to be power oriented with high volume rushing attempts. Hurry up and run thew ball. Lots of basic off tackle runs disguised with window dressing motion and aided by tempo.
If all you do is drop back time and again like a Leach version in empty sets then you are nothing but a cupcake.
They also have their pick of 5* Cali QBs .... essentially they have their choice of filet mignon and we have vegan dog food.
