Off-Topic US Oil Production

Is that your standard? Paying $4 for gas is “cheap” bc other countries pay more? Is 10% real inflation, good bc other countries have it worse?

No we didn’t handle it better than anyone. We just have the largest economy and sit on top of a never ending sum of natural resources that any other country on the planet would die for.

What didn't we handle well and who handled it better?

Passage of Democrats' Inflation Reduction Act capped off years of campaigning for major climate change legislation and breathed new life into the renewable energy sector — but not without simultaneously handing a major victory to oil and gas interests by ensuring they have a chance to bid on more federal acreage.
Republicans vetoed Manchin’s and Shumer’s gas and oil bill because they are mad at Manchin voting for the inflation reduction bill. Don’t blame Dems. Only the far left is against Manchin’s bill, but ALL Republicans are against it.

We shut down our economy, took away 1st and 4th amendment rights, fired people for no reason, ruined small businesses while uplifting big ones. Segregated groups of people. Ruined a generation of kids, caused raging inflation and more. You should be asking what did we do right. Hint: it’s nothing.
