Obviously he should have reported it, and this just goes to show his morals are complete crap, but I don't think he'll be fired because this is a title IX violation. Title IX covers the behavior of employees and students of a university, but the victims do not have to be limited as such.

On top of that, the violation under Title IX is not the sexual assault or domestic violence itself (that is for the legal system to deal with), Title IX covers the failure to deal with the allegations (or even the outright coverup of allegations).

ight I just didn't know if like both parties had to have involvement with the school or not.
 
its amazing what some of these piece of **** coaches deny, cover up and condone. Not surprising from this one though as he was always very easy to see through. I hope he gets fired, he doesn't deserve that job.

Craziest part of this is that they didn't bump Greg Schiano to Interim Head Coach. I mean he was one of our coaching candidates and he was very close to taking the Tennessee job. I guess OSU knows that the guy really would be a terrible head coach.

This is bad.

Text messages contradict Urbs very public denial and, if investigators demonstrate he had knowledge but didn’t report, it’d be a failure of his fudiciary responsibility to OSU as a mandated reporter. He got goaded and couldn’t help but wax all poetic about his wife’s heart, sterling character, and influence on the program. I can’t see this ending well for their family because he has to admit he lied to prevent his wife (university faculty) from taking the brunt of the fall for this; he’s either a liar, a coward or both.

The wife was also a mandated reporter who failed this woman and OSU, bigtime. Furthermore, other wives on his staff knew and did nothing? This entire situation demonstrates such poor control of the program on so many levels. The OSU admin can’t support this man or his wife and I’d expect a resignation. #MeToo mafia is way too real.
