Agreed. It is the Tape Guy downfall. They fail to recognize that less is more.

I see it on site after site where once great teams are struggling and fans are desperate to rationalize it. Particularly prevalent in the offseason. Some in-house Tape Guy will exhaust every game all season. Fans are brainwashed into comfort level that now we now exactly what to fix and certainly the coaching staff and administration are following along. There they are. All of our faults. Just get rid of them. We've shown you the way.

Meanwhile it is sheer normalcy. You could do this with any team on our level. Virginia Tech could turn around and do the same thing on their own end, with a Tape Guy presentation detailing why the 28 point margin should have stood up to the finish.

Lance is great but he lost me immediately this time. That was not pass interference on Williams' first interception. Not in the real world. Not the way games are properly called. You can slight of hand with freeze frames but in doing so you are already forfeiting he big picture toward nothing but bias.

Threads like this should spotlight a handful of plays that are symbolic of a tendency that shows up time and again, injuring our fortunes. Once you try to explain everything you are essentially explaining nothing.

They get all my personal data and sell it to the highest bidder, so yeah they consider me a customer.
