I’m actually an adult & been following CFB/recruiting for over 10+ years. I know how the business goes. You bringing up guys like Brown & Forston are irrelevant. That was a decade ago. The game has evolved & we are seeing a lot of true freshmen making plays all over CFB.
Cool. You have the wisdom and maturity of a 15 year old. See ya!

I’m not with all the insults & ****... keep that goofy **** to yourself. I’m here to talk ball & if you don’t agree with my opinion it’s cool. But miss me with the goofy insults 💯

@lance...Great writeup as always! Few questions..

By your summary, is it safe to say that you are leaning toward being officially done with the Pope/Wiggins situation and are ready to move on to other options?

Are we GT LB upgrade away from being an elite defense? And if we cant get one, how far of a dropoff is it for this defense with the LB play being so poor?
not if we still are sending our blitzes from 30 yards off the line of scrimmage :

It's not just the amount of drops with those 2 - it's the situational timing of them (Dee on the long play) and Pope on the potentially game breaking play.
still have nightmares of those two at the Cheez Bowl, and Wiggins getting owned by that DB from NC, that still should have been a senior in HS

Our defense's propensity to cover grass and stare at the quarterback, instead of actually covering receivers, never ceases to amaze me. Guys wide open all over this tape.
My concern also ( with the usual alignment issues), really I didn't see much difference between Manny's and Blake's defense: hoping we can chuck it up to being spring ball :

Then you weren't paying attention. There were lots of differences.

Watch the timing of the blitzes compared to any game from last year. Watch the disguising of certain blitzes compared to any game from last year.
not an expert : what I saw,
still playing off, Rambo was running free on quick crosses,
3 & 4 and long conversions
blitzes coming from 10 -15 yards off the ball that never got there,
cutbacks still giving us trouble, ( Jaylan went untouched, reminded of NC)
alignment issues, two defenders on three

Hope your right, but still looks like the same old same old
