Go find my Beck aint it thread. Hes off target or late on a substantial amount of completed passes to the point where the receiver loses momentum, turning big plays into tackles or small gains. Those are throws where they are not cross patterns. Cross patterns forget about it. Some people have the ability to hit the target some dont.

Not a Beck apologist, but .... I went back and reviewed a tape of all of his throws from earlier in the season, and compared it to the past 3 games from a perspective of just mechanics and delivery.

My take? I think he may be playing through some kind of injury, as I am seeing a subtle change in his delivery. I could be imaging things, but I don't think so. His arm slot has a slight decline in it that may not be shoulder related, but there's something different about his release.

Now, does that affect decision making? Maybe, Maybe not, But unless I have the call sheet in front of me, it's really hard to say for certain

They're not because they can't.

They don't have an explanation because there's no way to explain it without holding the Golden Boy Becky culpable, which they cannot & will not do.

He threw 12 INT's last year & is on pace to surpass that, but somehow it's everyone else's fault as to why he can't stop turning the ball over.

A bit odd for a supposed 1st round draft pick.

He's throwing more picks than I threw with him in my Canes season in CFB26 and I was just learning how to play.

Carson Beck could lose us a game with multiple picks in the red zone including one late.
This team could be less than ready for a sneaky November weve all seen laid trapped for us before.
We could get ****ed by our own doing from the CFP again.

What I don't understand is what some people missed from watching him do almost exactly the same stuff for a significant amount of snaps last year. I'm all over this thread (and board) having just asked "why is this going to be different?"

I acknowledged more of a playaction game might help him, but this is how Beck makes decisions. I sincerely don't blame him as much as I blame anyone who expected something different, and especially anyone who expected something different without architecting an entire plan around exactly these tendencies.

I don't get why people want to go away from the evidence on the field. Just watch the games. Find patterns. They don't always hold up, but they mostly do.

It's a testament to the receiving corps that they catch some of his passes. He's not nearly as accurate as I'd hoped.

Lmao what is this? I didn't see this in game. I have a lot of questions by just looking at this still shot.

Why is the uncovered guy only a few yards down field when we have another guy over 10 yards down field? Why is he not looking at the qb? Why does he look like hes getting ready to hit a hesi juke move when nobody is there?

Man, we really do have the lowest IQ team in the country. Gurvan Hall was a few years ahead of his time, he belonged on this team.

Bingo. That’s y I scoff at the ref notion. We played extremely conservative, & the defense held up as long as it could. All of the pre snap penalties on both sides putting us off schedule & them on schedule didn’t help. We gave them all the momentum on a dropped pass int. We didn’t take advantage of their porous pass defense.

Yes there were calls that weren’t in our favor, & we still could’ve/should’ve won the game.
•This play that’s posted is an indictment on Beck
•Going for it on 4th down running the same unproductive play is an indictment on the coaching staff.
•Getting away from Baby Jesus is an indictment on both Beck & the staff.
•The defense quitting in OT is what has me most concerned.

SMU bullied us on the L.O.S in OT, & it didn’t feel like it was hat on hat v. deflated efforts. Back in 2018, iirc, we had a top 5 Defense that was top 5 against the pass & top 20 in points allowed. The offense continued to put the defense in precarious positions & eventually….well, we know. That lack of effort in OT was eye opening. Hoping nothing else transpires from this, but ooof.

I’m not worried about Syracuse, but I’ll be lying if I told u I’m not worried about ending the season.
