Man, if we hired the head coach and not get the 5*, that would be a hard sell to everyone in Miami. Possible package deal? Maybe but I will believe it when I see it. Only a few days until Saturday.

Possibly. But it was also stated that UNC still owed Fedora 12 mill. Also, supposedly his UNC contract said that he had to actively seek employment and couldn't just sit on the beach while they wrote checks every month.

I didn’t know that. I remember a few years back when Mitch Mustain was recruited to Arkansas, he brought some teammates and the head high school coach to be the offensive coordinator. I think the coach ended up being the Auburn coach down the road or something like that.

Seriously though. Like the Baker hire but I don’t have a good vibe with no killer recruiter on the defensive side of the ball. Feel like we won’t improve there unless we go 12-0/11-1 yearly. We need that type of recruiter that even in a bad year they pull a 5 star just because of them.

Agree , I think We need to change our strategy up. All these other programs have offensive coaches recruiting defensive players and visa versa yet we didn’t do that when richt was here. Look at how James coley got Campbell last year, and if Stevenson indeed goes to uga look how he got him this year. We need dog recruiters on our top targets period no matter what side of the ball they coach on. And with that being said Diaz need to hire some elite recruiters, as of right now our staff is incomplete but I’m not sold on anyone’s recruiting ability who we have now
 
The idea of great individual recruiters is pretty overrated. Winning helps recruiting and you win with good coaching.

His contract does not say that.
