On Sunday Al Golden and his staff will be holding a "recruit-barbecue". Some of the 'Canes biggest targets will be attending the event.

**2014 Dwyer (Fla.) WR Johnnie Dixon tells me he will be going. Dixon has the 'Canes in his top 3, along with Ohio State and Alabama. Rumors have been swirling that Johnnie may commit sometime soon but he says he doesn't know when he will commit.

**2015 Miramar (Fla.) CB Tyrek Cole tells me he will "More than likely" be in attendance. Early on the 'Canes are thought to be the favorites along with the Florida Gators.

**2015 Monarch (Fla.) ATH Shawn Burgess-Becker should be in attendance he says. The 'Canes were one of Burgess-Becker's earliest offers.

**2014 Homestead (Fla.) WR Ermon Lane and 2014 Plantation (Fla.) CB Chris Lammons are supposed to be on campus for the event but I have yet to confirm that.

**Lammons will be announcing on Monday August 12th at 4:30 PM on the ESPNU program CFB Blitz. Ermon Lane and Quincy Wilson will also be announcing Monday at 9:00 PM.

6:22 PM UPDATE:
**Miramar (Fla.) S Andre Godrey tells me he will be in attendance this weekend for the BBQ. He also expects an offer to come. Godfrey was unable to attend any of the Al Golden football camps in June he said. Here are his highlights:http://www.hudl.com/athlete/967448/andre-godfrey

Tito Benach confirmed the following players will be at the barbecue on sunday as well.

Reason 1: He is showing respect to the coaches who called him and invited him. This kid imo is mature enough to handle this properly
Reason 2: He just wants some free food
Reason 3: Trying to get inside info on Dixon, Lemmons for UF (I highly doubt this.. allot of UF boards are saying this but i think Miami will be very careful with everything, last year Keith Bryant was trying to do this for FSU and the staff separated him and kept an eye on him)
Reason 4: The kid has decided UF for a while now.. that is a fact.. but SOMETHING has happened in the past few weeks. Allot of hype these players had about UF has calmed down. He may just say he is delaying his decision after Sunday.



I honestly think its Reason 1

Lane has been showing making it obvious who is favorite school is, yet saying they are all even...but not once has he talked smack about any school. From what I read Miami figured he is not coming here and they focused their energy else where and that was that.. Quincy has been in his ear all day talking smack about Miami but this kid has not followed that stupidity an talked smack on twitter about the local D1 school.
 
Tifwiw per ITU Dalvin Cook is supposed to come sunday as well.Maybe musschump is sending him to get after lane.
 
And also don't know if uf really want dixon they told rudolph he is one of their top targets and they are going after kd cannon and josh malone hard.

Good now Miami can focus on Kendall Randolph, thats who i want to compliment Bethel.

... but yeah I think Lammons is going to USCe.

Pretty sure UF is out of it for Dixon....not sure who's call it was, but seems its down to us and Alabama. With Bama making a very strong push for him.

I wish we could pull Lane's invitation to the BBQ assuming he is committing to UF on Monday. I don't want him coming here and talking to kids trying to recruit them to come to UF with him at OUR BBQ. He can gtfo. I hope Golden tells him thanks but no thanks. Stay home.
