We do need safeties, but is Godfrey worth a spot? Looks like a solid player but there isn't a ton of room left in this class.

We are going to have three scholarship safeties next year & two of them have injury histories. Also don't expect everyone we have committed to stay committed

Isn't Mayes projected to be a S? That makes 4.

His coach said Miami offered him at CB

Other then his size I honestly dont see anything else that says he's a safety imo

Guys I'm just going by what Pete said a few weeks ago, he said he though Mayes may (no pun intended) lack the foot speed needed at CB.

I think Lane and Wilson are going to do a fake commit to some place like South Carolina or Ohio State. I don't think UF has Wilson that high on their board. Lane will be in play to signing day IMO
