Miami’s OL is known for its physicality. But it was their mental toughness that turned the season and playoffs around. MM is young and immature, not to say he wouldn’t mature, but for us that’s too big a question mark to keep your fingers crossed and hope it happens. Better for us he showed his A** now, and we move on.

There's a TON of aggressive homophobia in this thread. It's pretty shocking. I get some of the jabs based on his announcement. I get that it goes very well with Texas A&M's general weird and suspect pageantry. That's funny. But some of the other stuff being posted is just straight up angry.

The direct result of it being forced in every single show, movie, etc.

After a while it no longer becomes a sensitive topic nor should it be.

It really shouldn’t matter what your preference is.

However, this dude was flamboyant….that has nothing to do with being ghey…with the exception that the ghey community thinks being flamboyant is cute. So calling a spade a spade.

Glad we did not land him and feel like most Miami fans feel the same and we can close the book on this confused young man.

Give me kids like Tyler Ford to supplement what we landed last season.

Truthfully, after watching that…I completely agree.

In all seriousness, not one sour grape. I could honestly say if he committed to us and acted like that, I’m not sure exactly how I would feel about him being in the locker room and would actually believe he would transfer as quick as he could in the portal.

Sour grapes. Yeah, it was an unorthodox announcement, but I have a hard time believing the staff feels this guy is "soft" or not a culture fit when it's been communicated by D$ and others he was the top player on our board and they were ready to invest significant financial resources to land him. Hard to flip kids in the NIL-era, but I doubt Miami throws in the towel and will battle until the very end.
 
I’m guessing Mario is still going to keep trying with this kid, but personally, I would rather trust our development with guys we already have/portal in next winter and go all out for the dtackles.

If MM wasnt likely to start next year and he didnt want to go through Samson path of development, peace.

Next year we could have some combination of JC, Buchanan, Samson (possibly), Ervin, Congdon, Wilkerson, Hawkes and a center tbd… I think we will be good on the line.

Who is saying anything about his sexuality?
I think it's more about his maturity or perhaps mental maturity.
We want War Daddies who tough it out in the middle of a very physical game or after
a tough loss, not break into a musical.

Let MM go , his baggage issues are GREAT .

No way he stays at TAM , he may just portal to a lower level school to get his degree.

NFL not in this kids future, KAEPERNIK type kid .
