He can struggle in the NFL that is possible, I agree the Giants do have a RT but Sisi is the more talented player imo, most draft pundits were projecting him as a guard months before the draft.

He is but they just paid the guy so its smart to put francis there because you’re filling another need and could move him outside if needed, he was an elite tackle in college that can play guard too not a tackle that has to be moved to guard.

He would be a very good tackle in the league too, they always project guys to guards lol they did the same with Sewell

Either way it shouldn’t be framed that they turned a guard into a tackle so don’t worry about losing other elite talent lol. If thats the case why get cantwell or why even recruit Matthews

I've never felt like Matthews really liked us. Then the second that Jackson Cantwell was put at LT and more than held his own, I knew Matthews was not coming here. There are other high value Tackles out there. We must get one. The reality of the situation is that ever since and including the DJ Jacobs fiasco, Mario has been getting beat more often than he would like this cycle and to me that will ultimately end up being a good thing. Why? Because Mario is the quintessential competitor and if you think he is just going to sit and sulk while the rest of these coaches carry out their plans then you are nuts. Mario will rebound with a vengeance.

Not sure what better job in recruiting means but if all things being equal the money, etc. - they have shown more love to this kid than their own families!

Whatever - move on - we will get another guy. That I am certain of.

I just truly dont believe the dollars were equal. That has to be misinformation. Maybe they think lying about that makes it easier to accept. But they are wrong.n Because otherwise, every other rich person on earth chooses Coral Gables or Miami Beach over rural East Texas. We had to get outbid, and probably by a sizable margin.

I happen to agree with you but the majority on this board just don't get it. Not everyone wants to be in Miami. Just like so many here are posting about never wanting to be in College Station.

Some kids just want new experiences. matthews would get his money anywhere

Cantwell was the much more polished prospect IMO. If this kid was asking for 2x Cantwell’s number I’d tell him thanks but no thanks.
