Do some actual, outside research. I'll bet you've talked to, literally, nobody who has significant contact with him. I was on a vetting committee for him as a potential hire. Nobody likes him. Other coaches won't bad mouth him, because that is how the fraternity works. But nobody likes him and his ego would create a trainwreck in most coordinator positions.
Why would he want to leave Ohio? He's pretty much been there his entire life.Do we kick the tires with Jason Candle again? Maybe he's ready to get tf out of northern Ohio

You might also check with some members of a prior Miami search committee who had the experience of meeting with him.
But I'm sure my experience and sources pale in comparison to your prior CIS poster thread.
Dumbass.
Or what OC’s would realistically hitch their wagon to Mario and come to Coral Gables?
That’s what I mean. Hitching your Wagon to Mario includes some of his coaches and his scheme. Does he micromanage? Like you said will he let you bring who you want to coach with you? Especially if you’re an already established OC and you saw the disaster that was the offense this year. Money is always the great equalizer of courseI'm less concerned about that. You know Mario is going to go all-out recruiting. My only question would be whether he'd give me the reins or make me run "his offense" (whatever that is). As long as I had full control over offensive scheme, playcalling, and at least some of my coaches/analysts/assistants I'd be good to go.
It's a bigger issue for a guy like Gattis who doesn't run the QB room. I'm assuming our next OC is also the QB coach and gets to bring in his WR coach (and a few analysts to work in his system). Mirabal isn't going anywhere and you know Mario will have a hand in the OL coaching. I expect anyone even taking an interview would know that from the jump. Field and Smith's positions might be up for debate, but Field is a strong recruiter w/ south Florida ties so I wouldn't be so quick to toss him (unless it's for a truly top shelf option). Will definitely be real interesting to see how this all works out (or doesn't), but at this point I would take just about anyone over Gattis. That’s what I mean. @Paranos ....since when is Yost at USF??He is at USF now.
Go Canes
Wow, even for CIS I've never seen someone revel in their ignorance to this extent.Let’s recap since you can’t read or comprehend anyrhing
Someone asks are there OC candidates ON THIS BOARD (you know what that means?) that people like
I say yeah Mullen is universally liked here, because like I read people say it. You know evidence?
You drag your knuckles into this thread and tell me I’m wrong with no evidence
I say yeah dude 100% there are people here, many of them
You have a chance to yet again acknowledge that what I’m saying is correct
PEOPLE ON THIS BOARD LIKE HIM
On your 3rd chance you still can’t admit you’re wrong and just triple down on your ****y behavior
In summation it does not surprise me one bit that someone as incapable of simple reading comprehension as you are was on the search committee that led to hires of guys like Manny Diaz
You did a great job!!!![]()
Nah trust me I get itWow, even for CIS I've never seen someone revel in their ignorance to this extent.
I said nobody likes Mullen. Nobody does. Do some like him for OC at Miami? Apparently (and unfortunately...and unrealistically), but those are not the same questions.
It is ironic to hear you lecture about "evidence" and "reading comprehension" ability when you have neither.
You're a delusional clown. Don't speak unless you can improve the silence...and you can't.
Aint happening but Jeff Grimes would be grade A.
Appreciate that, but tbh probably not gonna do that because who I might personally prefer & who MC will actually hire will likely be a whole Solar system apart. Then it just turns into a whole ordeal just like last year & I’m not dealing with that again lol.I'd love to hear @Memnon share his list, but can completely understand why he wouldn't. As a passive reader/seldom poster, I really do value his opinion and hope he decides to share it with us at some point.
Sowder is off the market fyinot sure if it was him or Slick Willie...
he was 30th in O in 21, and 57th this year...not great but an upgrade from Broyles award winner.
Understood and respected. Thanks for replying, GOATAppreciate that, but tbh probably not gonna do that because who I might personally prefer & who MC will actually hire will likely be a whole Solar system apart. I was gonna ask Rid this but he’s in Purgatory. He brought up Willy Korn which I think is an interesting name. A bit young. But also he’s co-OC with Newland Isaac there. Do you know much about those guys, that dynamic there?Appreciate that, but tbh probably not gonna do that because who I might personally prefer & who MC will actually hire will likely be a whole Solar system apart. **** you're stupid. Green dot.Nah trust me I get it
You backed yourself into a corner because you didn’t take two seconds to try and understand what was going on. As expected you’ll just keep trying to throw your own missteps in here back at me
Either meet me at Titanic or shut the **** up
**** you're stupid. Green dot.
