Simpson came in and DL hasn't skipped a beat. If anything, they've gotten better but that could just be GW3 being the monster he is and JJ/Garvin taking the next step.

Either way, great sign that it's more the scheme and not the actual coach. If any other coach leaves similar to Kool then gives hope that there won't be much of a drop off.

We can only play the teams put in front of us. Also, some of these lower tier teams can put up some yards period . We held Toledo to like 250 yards and their offense is prolific. Not many defenses dominant anymore . Dominant Bama gave up 31 to Arkansas . Be thankful we’re not Virginia Tech giving up 600 yards to ODU
 
Our D is devastating to offenses. However we need to work on scoring D a bit. Some of that goes to offensive efficiency, punting, and punt coverage. Clean that up and we are the best D in CFB.
 
and think how nasty our D will be when we have true Miami depth and have an All-ACC type talent coming off the bench behind another All-ACC talent. Close on the guys we need for this class and we'll be nearly there.

For the millionth time McIntosh didn’t destroy his draft stock, his illness did. Norton was the one who made the mistake.

I was going to post this last year but the board can get very touchy. The possibility that someone’s spot was going to be taken had to be there. It’s not like Willis blossomed over this summer. Everyone saw it coming. Any nfl prospect doesn’t want to finish a senior year as a second string.
 
Think about it. We're ranked this high, and we've played without Jaquan for most of the season. Now replace Knowles with Hall and we're really cooking with gas.

Your right. This board (and I’m including myself) tends to be half full for some things and half empty for others.
I’m already thinking about who’s going to match gw’s Disruption next year. Can’t even take time to enjoy what’s happening now. Smdh.

I hope this staff realize its time to hit the juco ranks for solid depth....cant wait til they lose out on a few hs kids to pursue the good ones...the time is now....

@Dwinstitles I love Silvera but the level Willis is playing at is beyond insane. You think Silvera has the same type of ability or is he a different type of DT in terms of style? TBH I don't know enough about Silvera's game to answer that.
