Canesport had an interview with Boykin yesterday, Boykin said Miami gave his spot to a transfer. tifiw obviously but thats the claim
That kid is going to be a force at the college level !! His quickness makes up for his lack of size. Very disappointed he is not a take !!

The portal will hurt those 3/4 stars that play games and don’t sign in December because they are using us as a placeholder for a Bama offer.

When they don’t sign and then someone hits the portal in early January and commits to us quickly that 3/4 star may lose his spot here especially if the portal guy has at least two years of eligibility.

And what will really hurt that 3/4 star is if that bama or $ec offer never comes and he’s left with UCF or another non glamour school.

Hopefully after a few years of this happening maybe some of those 3/4 stars lose the diva attitude.

Unfortunately those high 4 stars or 5 stars South Florida recruits will always be divas because you have keep a spot for them.

He said he was transferring to major in music production and UCLA didn't have that major. I think he just wants to get away from Chip Kelly. We'll see how serious his concussions are though.

I doubt it'll help, (thats mostly a factor in grad transfers) but if he could get a waiver off UCLA not having whatever major he wants and miami having it, that would be awesome. I mean if he hired a lawyer, he'd have a case. I wouldn't trust the NCAA to allow it, but it'd be an interesting case to follow. Because technically if a player is leaving for academic reasons, the ncaa shouldn't require them to sit a yr.

Imagine this guy flying around the field as a 6'5" long wingspan striker laying dudes out. It would be fun to watch.
Your ears must have been burning, cause I was envisioning the same **** Bruh!!!! If you run a 4.5 in the forty and have the metrics of the #1 player in the nation, get him some stem cells, growth, and secret sauce, = ALL AMERICAN!!!!

I want Travon Hill! Its only a one year rental, but, it will give our younger players another year to grow and learn from a Great Dline coach and from a Senior in Hill. I hope that his hot headedness will not stop Manny from seeing his passion for the game, and that it fits in as Old School Cane' type of player. Would really put pressure on the QB. Go Manny!
Any time you use the words "OldSchoolCanes" greatness is about to ensue!!! Coming from an Old School Cane since Schenellenburger!!!!!

DE is thin. We really have no proven players outside of Garvin and an often injured Patchan. Hill would automatically be in the rotation.

Hill would start... I think he’s a little better than Joe Jackson already so he instantly eases the sting of that loss.

Hill is a completely different player than Jackson. Jackson was pretty badass against the run and actually disrupted a ton of plays that he didn't get stats for. Hill, from what we've seen, is a pass rushing specialist. I think the proper expectation is that he would be the third DE...assuming Rousseau is healthy...and would be in for all obvious passing situations....and if he is more than that, even better.

He might be a better pass rusher than the injured version of Joe Jackson that we had for most of last season, but not better at run support. Still, he will be a total weapon for us and I look forward to seeing him tear it up!!
