Hey, it's easy to spend money when it's not yours!
The resource being "allocated" is cash. If you think the staff and NIL money men should allocate differently, I'm sure Canes Connection is all ears.
We have money. It is not a money issue.

This staff thinks it is smarter than what they actually are when it comes to kids value. It’s wild, they were all in on him out of high school. We basically saved 1 year of salary on him from his freshman year. And now they want to “budget”???
Every single SEC team would be all over him if they could get their hands on him
What is the issue then? I can’t imagine giving my son a huge budget for V Bucks and him not using every penny to make the best character ever with all the top emotesWe have money. It is not a money issue.
You think we have a team emphasis on (team) reflective of a top spender? We are considered a top spender by the rest of America- coaches, media, agents.
The only place I see people questioning our spending is our message boards, I think there is an information gap.
That’s why we have message boards. I don’t know how it turns out. There is plenty of room for debate on evaluations and strategy. How’s the program ROI right now? How will it look like January 2026?
The disconnect seems to be at allocation of said funds. We seem to always be reactive and not proactive. There is always a room in disarray. Last year that cost us essentially wasting a generation talent in Cam Ward. And yes I’m saying waste, if we are in fact a top spender, and I believe we are, missing the playoff with our schedule was a miss/waste. So now here we are in year 4, it’s the spring portal window and we still have major holes on the roster. It’s natural people will start questioning why.We are considered a top spender by the rest of America- coaches, media, agents.

But when people talk about our budget, they are operating from limited information and against the national consensus.
If anyone is worried about our budget, the best thing we can do is visit:

So then you don't get to run your ****-sucker mouthI can’t donate to an organization that misuses its funds.
Not different than me selecting charities. I need to see the documents where the money is going and success behind the money. Mario and staff need to actually win something of significance for ppl to really want to contribute. Success brings money.

Agree, Low balling is a common thing with themWe absolutely are a top spender. The money is not the issue. It's how and when we choose to spend at times which is.
The narrative we don’t “overpay” is so false. We are selective and over pay on many kids on the roster. We absolutely are a top spender. The money is not the issue. It's how and when we choose to spend at times which is.

True, but no school wants a reputation for big offers, but never following through.I mentioned in the Jackson Cantwell thread I think some schools might be “interested” in only increasing what another school has to spend. While no salary cap, there’s limits to what each school can do, and schools are going to start using that strategy.
Who are your main issues that are overvalued? The narrative we don’t “overpay” is so false. We are selective and over pay on many kids on the roster.
FIFYIf MARIO had that Brady mindset … he would renegotiate his deal and allocate the funds towards an impact receiver!! It’s only going to benefit him in the long run!
