Wow.... Now the position coach basically kisses his butt on social media.....

"Choosing a university to attend is one of biggest decisions you’ll ever make. Fans love this game…but many never experience the pain or challenges that players go through especially in this new era of college football. Love for somebody comes out as hate when you are hurt & thinking about what you are losing. We are blessed to have David Stone AKA Agent 0 continuing here, and I know SOONER NATION will embrace him as you did when he chose to be a SOONER out of high school. Boomer!!"

Who is this kid’s agent lmao? This is how it’s done Nico. Not only did this kid get a hefty raise, he demanded that his DL coach kiss his *** on social media. A new precedent has been set.

This is a massive load of pseudo intellectual garbage.

You know you can actually watch the players play the game right?

There's been no improvement. Its stayed the same.

Miami had one of the worst offenses in college football in 2018, and again in 2022. It had the best offense in CFB last year. I understand that some believe that recruiting rankings have no bearing, but if that is the case why doesn’t Rice or Temple have an equal shot of winning the national title?

You do great work with this. All this talent, resources and back to work for 1 net win.

Something must be off on game days.

Ouch.
Thanks!

The main issue is that while the overall talent pool improved, the secondary regressed and became our biggest weakness since special teams in 2018-2019. That’s why we weren’t 11-1 or 12-0 going into the playoffs.

Honestly, if James Williams and Kam Kinchens return we probably win one of the two regular season games that we lost.

Oh yeah. That locker room going to get real interesting especially if he’s still not performing to anywhere close to what he’s being paid and others are.
Setting the precedent for other players to enter the transfer portal, possibly as position groups to get group raises. What happens for instance if the entire wide receiver room enters the portal? Or the entire secondary? Or the entire team?

In fairness, the only impact Mario’s higher HS recruiting rankings had on last years offense was at RT and RB2

Because players get overrated and underrated. We get alot of overrated players AND don't use them properly. Occasional underrated guys like Cooper.

What was the average ranking of Georgia Techs juggernaut offense and defense last year?

Or Iowa States? How many 4 and 5 star guys do they have on their rosters?

Our offense was good last year bc of Cam Ward. Not bc of composite rankings. We know this to be a fact bc look what happened with Emory running the offense.

The defense was bad last year bc almost the entire room are overrated busts with low football IQ, AND were coached very poorly.

The perennial powerhouses like OSU and UGA do their evals properly. They get the properly rated guys. Highly rated guys who are then coached into maximizing their talent on the field. They also hit on underrated guys (like Clemson).

Jeremiah Smith is the perfect example. 5-star kid. He was an instant impact MVP freshman on the champion team. That's the kind of performance you should get out of a 5-star.

Mario and his team can't even recruit or develop a starting center. Portal every year. And they're desperate for WRs too. OSU doesn't have that problem. They bring in talented guys and develop them.
