upcoming season

This is the year we end the FSU streak against us.

The ND game and another game we shouldn't lose will probably be the losses.

10-2 with an appearance in the ACCCG and i'm one happy fan though

Definitely high hopes for this upcoming season, especially with the new weapons we have in the wide outs. Kaaya should have a good season with the weapons we have and our back field (If not the best in the ACC) just know his in good hands with Richt. We will prove it once we play FSU.

There are two things Richt does not do with regularity.

1) Win his conference.
2) Beat his main rival.

Don't hold your breath, especially in year 1.

To be fair, he won his conference more than once and the toughest conference there is. Georgia was maybe the favorite to win it once or twice.

The not beating Florida regularly is unacceptable though.

In the weak *** ACC, Richt will be expected to win the coastal every single season. There just won't be any excuse not to.

He's 19-3 vs acc opponents, will be easy for richt

He won't be playing them with an SEC team full of 5 top ten class recruits. Don't forget broke, he got fired before he landed in Miami.

Richt is stepping into a perfect situation as an OC. He's got a top QB, who has a ton of experience already. He's got a game-changing WR (Coley), a future NFL superstar TE (Njoku), and a good stable of RBs, two of whom are above-average receivers. Richt should spread it out, let Kaaya deal, run some tempo and absolutely destroy defenses.

I have a feeling this offense is going to be potent this season. If we can get average OL play we will be in the ACC title game.

And Miami is talentless? stop with that, over the last 5 years Uga has put 28 guys in the league as draft picks and Miami has put 23 in as draft picks not including Allen hurns and Sam shields. NFL talent produced IMO is a better barometer of how talented a team really was as every recruit doesn't pan out. we were very much on par with them

that's the plan if he runs an offense similar to what he ran at FSU but we'll probably see 2 TE's sets significantly with Herndon and Dobard with Njoku in the slot to help take pressure off the lack of depth at WR

Typical ****** broke leap of logic putting those words in my mouth to describe Miami. Also, a 20%+ difference in pro players, when you yourself say that is "a better barometer of how talented a team really was" is not significant?

You don't need any more depth at WR unless you suffer a rash of injuries. We'll have plenty of WRs on the rooster to run 3 and 4 WR sets as much as we want unless a bunch of guys get hurt. Even if you get an injury or two, you can split Njoku out in certain packages and use him as a hybrid WR.

We are loaded at TE though, and it's always best to be diverse. Spread em out with 4 WRs or go two TEs and 2 RBs. It's good to have options and diversity.

Yea that's true but I'm concerned about injuries though like you said, I don't trust berrios to stay healthy and Stacy always gets naggy injuries. If those two can't play that would be our best option plus you can make a very good case that TE's are our most talented position

If you count Allen hurns and Sam shields that's 25 compared to 28 from Uga which is only 11%.

9-3 losing to @VT, @ND, & FSU.

I hope Kaaya can close the deal against Florida state this time.

The VT game will be tricky, new coach, on the road, Thursday night. Fuente runs a spread offense, our defensive backs are our weakness. Plus it's coming off 5 days rest.

no way we lose to VT sorry not happening. We have better coaching and better players. There would be 0 excuse to leave that game

Injuries are part of the game ,its why you hope to have quality depth and we do. Cager,Herndon, lewis will contribute and incoming freshmen will add talent, depth and at least 2 of them are going to contribute.

Hey Broke, I know basic math is challenging, but Shields being in the 2010 class does not put him in the last five draft classes. However, if you would like to throw that year in to support my argument, Georgia 5, Miami 4.

Miami with Richt will be perenial top 10 in talent. Throw the past out the window. Every single year we should destroy the coastal. End of story.
