Unusual practice set up for the Gators

Barrow's announced exit was obviously related to his flirtation with Mizzou, but he explicitly told the world that adjusting to the climate in Miami was a major issue for him. I am sorry but that admission lends credence to what I originally posed about the possibility of historic hot temperatures factoring into his decision of whether to stay or go, regardless of how connected to the situation you believe yourself to be.

My theory was always 100% speculatory but your claim to know precisely what factored into his thought process makes you seem a bit crazed to be honest.

Keep spinning your gossamer BULL****.

First, he never "explicitly told the world" anything about the weather. Rambo also had some initial adjustment issues, and he only set the single-season record for receptions.

Second, you have now admitted that your bull**** was a "possibility" and "speculatory" (not a word), but of course AT THE TIME you posted as if it was a fact, though you later backpedaled into "possibility" territory.

Finally, I don't give a **** what you think of inside information or those who share inside information, but at all times, the issue with Baron being recruited by another school was truthful and accurate.

So...no apology for you. You were guessing and were wrong. Other people had the inside information and were correct. Nobody cares if Baron had swamp-*** and hot, itchy balls one day, the "weather" was not a factor in his flirtation with Mizzou. It just wasn't.

If Mario loses this game our situation is actually worse. This would be a fairly overwhelming "We Got The Wrong Guy" confirmation. And we'd be stuck with him
I think the silver lining to Mario is if we underachieve & are forced to go in a different direction, the incoming coach would have a loaded roster. The literal opposite of what he inherited. I’m cool with that. We’d be ok.

You either can't comprehend what you read and aren't playing with a full deck, or you are stuck in lawyer mode at all times and only wish to argue because from the outset (and this is verifiable by simply reading that thread) it was made perfectly clear that my Barrow/climate theory was just a wild guess based on record-breaking heat back in May.

Trust me, everyone understands that his near exit was due, in part, to an offer from another school. But for you to continue pretending that you know for a fact that excessive heat and humidity may or may not have factored into his own consideration of his own options, well, that just makes you appear unbalanced and unable to understand what this argument's even about. I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and chalk this up to you not having the ability to take off your lawyer hat since you argue with people on here all the time, but you should get that checked out.

This reminds me of those patty-cake videos Norvell put out two years ago that had everyone thinking FSU was soft before they came down and put belt to *** on us. I don't think stuff like this impacts the outcome but people shouldn't get drunk off it either..

Unfortunately it doesn’t work that way anymore with the portal. When a coach gets fired now the vultures purge the roster.

Depends on the money & coaching replacement IMO. Offer JoJo top money & a chance to play under Kiffin you think he bolts? Not a chance.

Regardless, all conjecture. I think we win a lot.. now.

Missouri heats probably worse
No humidity. Just dry. Like here in Tennessee it's hotter than south Florida it's so dry

Not liking this at all.

In 2019 we spent all summer laughing at these blokes and wound up losing.
In 2019 we had a far weaker squad on paper than in 2024.

And the Gators had a stronger squad in 2019 than in 2024.

Only thing concerning me is that it is year two for Mertz in the offense and it’s Game 1 for Ward.
