Daytona I’ve been following this team since ‘58 and what I’m seeing now after what we have gone through the last 15 years has me more ****ed than surprised.
I’m ****ed that the people in charge would put a guy in place that has proven to be hard headed and stubborn and was just fired from a job for being just that.This after just firing two guys prior that were just as stubborn and just as reluctant to change when sHT isn’t working.

But I’m not surprised at all we are in this situation.After all look who we have running things.Blake is no more qualified to run this program and it’s athletics than I am.In fact I may be more qualified because at least I’m smart enough to see when things aren’t working and either demand changes be made or I’d make them myself.

We are fcked going forward.Not just the football program but the baseball program as well.The only hope we have is that Frenk has a big enough set to step in and take charge cause Blake doesn’t and has shown he won’t until things are dire and a lost cause and people above him step in.If Frenk or some large boosters don’t stop this train now and don’t step in and make changes mediocrity will become the norm around Greentree and the Light.

Yep, they haven’t managed to make a competent hire since Butch in 1995, almost 25 years ago. How can this admin and BOT be so incompetent? It’s unbelievable.

Come on, we've seen his flavor before: All-in on an inept staff, assuring us all of his Cane card superiority, only to vanish because despite his fandom and intellectual prowess the evidence which hits him like a wet fart in his face is dismissed. In short: He's a tool and will rid us of himself shortly. In the meantime, enjoy his show. His brand of stupidity is exceptionally entertaining.

Couple solid points here.
 
I'm a "5 year" cane fan. Hated Miami in its glory years, became a convert as I got older. My very unpopular opinion as an "outsider". Most porsters on this board are delusional and greatly exaggerate to make their point. The team isn't worse than when Richt took over which is a popular view. Richt isn't a moron. I fault him for not changing his play calls based on the ability of his personnel, he's stubborn to a fault. I fault him for starting Malik, he's loyal to a fault. We have a very bad OL, no scheme has been invented that they can execute. We need a new OL coach and OC. Its going to take two more recruiting cycles before we have an OL that can perform well. Being a relatively new fan I have patience to see this through, I get why most don't. I prefer to stay positive and support guys like DeeJay, Bandy, JT, etc. Miami will return to greatness, just not on most people's timeline.
