Agreed coaches need to be held accountable for their jobs but the way our fan base is acting after we won ten games last season is embarrassing. Players see it and recruits see it. If your under the age of 30 you have never seen this program relevant so a 10 win season should be a relief. We all want national championships but only 3 teams(Clemson,Alabama, and Ohio state) are year in year out competing. Riches only qb recruit on the roster is jarren. We have al golden recruits playing al over the field(some forget richt took over at the tail end of the recruiting class in 2016 so he really only has two classes to his name). No one is patient but it really does take time. I’m not saying don’t put pressure on our coaching staff but don’t embarrassed the program to where players are saying fans need to stop attacking the team on social media’s

For older fans, It is not 1990 you can’t build a dynasty over night by stealing under the radar south Florida recruits bc everyone knows about them now,

I went to South Carolina and graduated in 2012. Clemson was our rival for years. Deandre Hopkins and taj Boyd martavious Bryant and many other nfl stars never beat South Carolina in the five years I went there. They had talent across the board and every Clemson fan was screaming for his head. How can you lose to our rival 5 years in a row? In the years to come Dabo got his oline and got his QB. When spurrier gave up all the talent in the state of SC started going from USC to Clemson. It was some luck, it was some the right staff(they have an all star staff now, we really need an o coordinator)and some getting the right recruits but I can promise it didn’t happen over night. I’m just saying richt came into a worse situation(sanctions and scholarship reduction). Dabo became the coach of Clemson 10 years ago, it took him 3 years to start winning more then he lost. 5 years to be relevant and start competing with the bigger programs year in and year out and in year 8 they were a national power going to the national championship. No coach does it over night not even savanna. Just hope right can make the right changes to make this team into the next national contender.

Blood, thanks for your post mate. It’s good to see not all of the Canes fans are ready to jump off the Richt wagon. But I have to tell you mate that we would have the patience if Richt and Co. we’re steering the ship in the right direction. Which he clearing is not. His ego is also a major turnoff to the majority of the fan base. It’s his way or the highway, and his lack of a genuine understanding of what a HC needs to be doing at a major college football program is what is befuddling to us all. I have supported this program and will continue to support it, but not until Richt has some major demands made upon him. Hire an OC, ST coach, and QB coach. Fire Jon, Searels, and demote Patke so we have the ability to hire the coaches necessary to steer this in a proper direction. If Richt can’t see that, then his ego will become the downfall many predict here. I can tell you that my $$$ isn’t going to the University anymore until changes are made. Either Richt gets with the 2010’s and rights the ship, or we move on without him. We should not consistently lose to lesser programs in the ACC. I get losing to the Clemson’s of the league but not Virginia or BC. Or for that matter Pitt last season.

The frustration is pressure mounting in a pressure cooker. Either Richt let’s the steam out by hiring the proper coaches to get this turned around...or the lid is going to explode off causing major damage. I’m hoping that through his egotistical lenses that Richt can see the truth.
 
Honestly the board aint that bad right now. This board after the 2014 season was much worse than this lol. I think everyone was in shock that Golden still didnt get fired after finishing a season with a losing record.

Agree 1000%. It's the fans that call the plays and recruit QBs. I'm going to study more film right now.
 
When the product on the field becomes unwatchable to some, the board becomes unreadable to others.
