First of all OSU is a team that has recruited very very well for a very long time and they have an elite coach. They deserve to get a little bit of Bias. Miami is a ? mark. Decent recruiting. Coach who has a history of under performing. 4th loss in a row. That said OSU still would have dropped quite a few spots if they lost to Purdue in week 1.

What their coach did 5 to 10 years ago shouldn’t mean anything to rankings this year. And with all that talent, they have now been destroyed two years in a row to average teams. How many question marks does that create?

Its not about what he did 5-10 years ago. He lands elite classes every year and wins bowl games and beats elite teams every year. That is the difference.
